Easy and efficient processing and onboarding to your cruise. We were through in less than 10 minutes (I am fairly high status on NCL plus my father is mobility restricted)Professional staff and a very convenient location in Southampton.

Excellent directions to the cruise terminal. Google definitely has its act together. This is totally opposite of booking. Com which is TERRIBLE!

We did not stay in Southampton but went to Windsor Castle instead by taxi. The return fares including waiting time for two hours was 250 pounds. On our way back to the cruise we stopped by Winchester Cathedral. If you don’t have time, I would recommend spending time in Winchester than all the way to Windsor Castle which is not very impressive if you have seen other European Palaces.

It's not glamorous, but is definitely run really efficiently. Although we had to queue to join and leave our ship, it was well organised considering the thousands of other travellers doing the same.

It seems to have restricted access only for cars actually catching a ship. I wanted to visit just to see them and couldn't get in.

It’s quite a walk to town (hence the four stars) but doable! Nice shopping mall in town. Overall a good stay!
