A wonderful gem of a church. There are some great sights inside including trophies from the wars and the Viking coffin and cross outside. A true landmark building... a must come see.

Great peaceful wonderful place. Stacked with history and symbolism. Make sure you see the knights templar gravestone in the porchway. The templar sword. Have a pint in the lion n lamb.

Fascinating churchyard with the imposing sandstone Viking cross the first thing you see. Cork tree was also amazing to see and much bigger than I expected. Well worth a visit.

The cross is mentioned in the Traveller's Guide as if it is very special and unique. It is maybe special and unique. It is however very difficult to find.

An amazingly peaceful church with lovely grounds. The history connected to this place came as a surprise, as apart from a Wikipedia page dedicated to the Gosforth Cross there is no, or relatively little info on the historical treasure this fantastic place holds and it's apparent anonymity is quite possibly it's best quality.
