Finnieston Alterations
Been meaning to find a place for alterations and recently visited FA for a couple of jumpsuits that required various bits of work on them. The lovely Barbra was brilliant, giving her suggestions, whilst also accommodating my personal thoughts and preferences for how I wanted the items to look. She was super accommodating to ensure one of my jumpsuits was ready in time for a wedding, and I felt great on the day in it. Thanks again!

Highly recommend!I cannot recommend this company and Barbra herself more. I have had a number of items altered/ repaired and tailored by Finnieston Alterations over the past few years. The quality and attention to detail is excellent. Barbra instantly puts you at ease when going in, making the whole process fun and exciting most importantly, easy.I no longer buy clothes in my size but a few sizes up (often in the sale) take them to FA and get them tailored to my measurements- never has my wardrobe looked to good.Quick, reliable, affordable, high quality.

Take your clothes here! Barbra is amazing at what she does and is so easy to communicate with. I literally dropped in to her studio last minute with no idea what I was doing and she had my clothes sorted in only a couple of hours. She took the time to understand what I wanted and was instantly on board. If I lived in Glasgow I would be bringing her clothes every other week.

Wow! Barbra went far beyond my expectations to get my dress fitting as well as possible, having me back for two fittings to make sure it was just so. She worked extremely fast and made me (and my daughters) feel really comfortable and was fascinating to talk to. The epitome of loveliness and professionalism; I would recommend her without a doubt.

Barbra is always so welcoming. She has tailored and adjusted several pieces of designer clothing for me over the past couple of months, each to a very high standard and with great attention to detail. Including tailoring a very sentimental vintage wool coat which used to be my Grandmas. It now fits me perfectly. She’s treated all my clothes with such care and I would highly recommend!

I ordered a dress for a wedding that came far too big, so I took it to Barbra to be altered. Barbra was amazing from start to finish - she worked quickly and perfectly altered the dress so that it fits, continuing to make adjustments until I was 100% happy with it. She's super enthusiastic and made me feel so great about an outfit that I originally felt terrible in! Could not recommend her more highly - I will be going to Barbra for all of my alteration and tailoring needs from now on. Thanks again!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Barbra is fantastic, so welcoming and friendly. She is honest, knowledgeable, and made me feel like she truly listened -- when I brought in my dress and told her what I wanted to alter, she discussed the pros and cons of doing so, even waiting til the day I came to pick up the dress to completely finish the alteration.Excellent quality and reasonable pricing. Can't be beat!

I found Barbra through google and took 4 pairs of jeans to her that needed to be altered in the waist. She was so kind and helpful and expedited two of the jeans so I could wear them for an event that coming weekend. Her work is great and the service and chat made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I’ll be going to her anytime I need anything altered in the future!

Barbara is the loveliest of ladies - so welcoming and such a warm soul. I’ve been to her a few times now and she always goes above and beyond in everything. My clothes always come back exactly how I wanted them. She’s a gem - couldn’t recommend more!
