Just had few portions and while the tream was very nice the food wasn't great at all. One of the worst fish and chips I had. Very bad burned chips and fish or butter with bit of fish. Do not recommend

The most epic food!!It was our first time in York and as we sought warm food on a cold February Saturday, we spied this brilliant place. Amazing quality and delicious flavours.

I usually never give bad reviews, but I've been to quite a few fish and chips places over my time and this place sadly isn't up to chop.- Serving sizes are tiny.- Prices are disproportionately high.- Many other great food options in the Shambles around it which are cheaper and offer way more.- The actual food given was ok, but even that could have been better quality (less batter and oil).- The customer service people were friendly but they made out like we could choose a variety of sauces, we chose 3, then they gave us a measly bit of tomato sauce. When I went back to get more, still a very stingy amount was given.

Drove all the way to York because it should of been open arrived there at 4pm on a Sunday because was meant to be open between 11.30am and 5pm arrive and closed a waste of fuel disappointed

Had a very nice squid rings and seasoned fries for lunch today! It was fresh and delicious!! There were plenty of hot chips and also liked the coriander, rocket, and chilli garnishes! Will definitely return to try the others, especially the smoked salmon burger!!

Friendly server with delicious and interesting food. I had the soft shell crab burger and would very much recommend it.
