Me my wife and 4 yr old went with our dog - Decent coffee but the service is like tortoise speed. More a family run cafe than professional baristas. Everytime you go - guaranteed to wait ages for your coffee and hot sarnies. Please fix.

I love this place. We regularly walk in Ecclesall Woods which is fantastic on its own but having a place to stop for coffee and cake tops it off. It's mostly outdoor seating so is muddy boot and dog friendly. They stock vegan, dairy and gluten free options. There's a great terrace at the back to watch the bird feeder and wildlife pond. It also houses a lot of the activities hosted at the woods, guided walks, crafts, folk feasts.

Perfect setting for an early Autumn walk. Note the leaves on the map!Gorgeous sunlight filtering throught the trees. Blackberries ripe for picking. Birdsong clear and calming away from traffic noiseI'd forgotten how wonderful the woods are

Beautiful place, good activities for the children, the organiser gets a bit struggle when there're too many children and she's alone. Ok for once, wouldn't do it regularly. Also very luckily that small injuries could happen considering the environment!

I did the 3 legged stool making course/day here with my partner, and honestly it was great, I would highly recommend this to family and friends.

This natural area is within the city 10 min drive. The discovery centre has periodically events and tour through the woods.What I like is that all the staff is nice and that they are inclusive when it comes to the events.I went to the fungi walk tour and I learned a lot since experts were with us during the tour. They also have bird and olant tours.

We had a lovely walk around the woods and then stopped for some lunch at the woodland cafe. The food was fabulous, great one way systems, friendly staff. We also saw several beekeepers completing their duties and they stopped to talk to us an explain all about the bees. A lovely afternoon!
