First time going to Bangor Nails and happy with the service. Didn't get the guys name but very friendly and took his time.

Went to Bangor nails & Spa on Thursday last week.I was over at my familys in Bangor. I saw this place had good reviews so I made an appointmentI had a set appointment time for toes and nails.I arrived 15 minutes early to be seen 30 minutes late, which I initially didnt mind.When I said what I wanted they gave me a palette to choose from. I was then left for another 30 minutes whilst they were seeing other people. Finally someone came over to start my nails. I had asked for acrylic extensions with glitter ombre or fade. And normal polish on my toes.The lady after excessive filing of the top of my nails, put the tips on my nails, left them at that and then sent me to get my toes done.I went to the pedicure area, and yet again... I was sat there for 30 minutes or more before someone came and did my toes... at every single point they tried to push me Into having gel on my fingers and toes, despite me saying that I really didnt want it as it irritates my skin.Once my toes were done I was yet again sat there for 30 mins....By this point I was extremely irritated... I watched them take walk in after walk in and ignore customers they already had sat there waiting...After finally being called over to have my nails done, it took the lady maybe 15 minutes to do them... 15 when I had been sat there for 2 hours already at that point...I was here for 2 hours 30 in total just for toes and nails.I asked for them to be thin not thick acrylics and in the end they are mismatched on length, thick and thin in odd places and uneven.My toes have lasted 2 days before chipping... whereas at my normal place they last 3 weeks.I do not reccomend this place at all.They care far too much about taking every single booking that comes through rather than taking care of the customers they already have in the shop.The only reason I have given them 2 stars is because the staff were friendly.I will be going to my own nail salon as soon as I can get an appointment to fix them.

Had my nails done a few times and this is the only place I trust and will go to. Amazing job they do and always try to create or recreate what you're looking for! Highly recommended!

New set nails done today taken on time that booked in for , nails absolutely beautifully done just like photo , lots of time taken on them , staff all so friendly , definitely recommend Bangor nail @spa , so happy with my nails

Poor experience, I had a booking and it half an hour late, the girl who did my toenails was unfriendly and walked away at the end without even taking the lamp off my foot.Over priced for the limited time she took on my toes. The finished job was average.

I’ve been going to Bangor Nail & Spa for a couple of years now and they are brilliant.The pedicures are fantastic and they really work to remove dry skin and massage sore feet and legs, and my feet and toenails have never felt or looked better.I also get regular acrylic extensions and gel polish and they have a fantastic range of colours and can do great nail art.The staff are amazing and know most customers by name and always ask how my family is.I have brought my baby with me to a couple of appointments and staff were brilliant with her, and patient with me needed to have one hand done at a time or take a break to feed or change the baby. Now they always ask how she is.It can be very busy at times, but I always feel welcome and happy with my treat of getting my nails done!

Terrible experience! I had an appointment for 3pm and was not seen until 4 but they still kept accepting as many people as they could. The employee was so rude and abrupt and made my experience horrible.My acrylic nails were layered on so thick and I was not happy with them at all so I had them removed a week after.The prices are too high for the terrible service and look of the nails at the end. I won’t be back.

Wouldn't use here as they are exploited and trafficked and work long hours for little pay.

Disappointed to leave a bad review as I have been here before and had no issues. However this time I asked for short, square french nails and they were awful. At first glance look okay but they did not trim/tidy my cuticles at all before starting, making my fresh set look weeks old. My square" nails were also U shaped and when I asked to fix it
