Swimming Pool (St James)
for a 45 min swim, I was charged £5.50.for that price I at least expect a clean cubicle to change in with hooks to hang my clothes!obviously they want you to join their leisure centre otherwise you pay ridiculous prices.This out of date and in need of renovation swimming centre needs to be realistic with the fees! £2 should be the going rate, in this old pool -and that's being generous!

Took my grandson swimming this morning, we arrived at opening time 8am Sunday. My grandson needed the toilet before we used the pool, the toilet cubicles were disgusting, the actual toilet was covered in dried on wee on the seat plus toilet roll all over the floor. They obviously hadn't been clean from the previous day, buy the way I cleaned them, you're welcome.

First visit in about 15/20 years and not been updated.Very tired looking, not the cleanest and lack of baby changing facilities.Staff friendly enough but place needs a major renovation to be brought up to today's standards

Two pools that are good temperature, staff are friendly, lifeguards present at all times. Great for families or length swimming.I need to get a leisure card so I can go more!

The pool itself is in a really inadequate condition, requires a lot of work. The place lacks lightening too.The staff is friendly, safeguards are present. Overall good.

Very good , water and ambient temperature perfect. Everywhere is clean, attendants constantly going around squeegying surplus water. Ensuring safety for patrons as much as possible. Lifeguards very attentive. Lockers working properly, even though they only cost 20p, you don't get it back. Unlike other pools, when you unlock, you get the coin back elsewhere. Also, you have to pay to park,where elsewhere you give the pool reception your registration and don't pay for parking. So yesterday, an hour&half swim cost almost £8.
