Update - Just had our 3rd visit this year. Stayed in Room 2 twice, and also Room 4. Room 2 would have to be our favourite because of the extra space. Again, the stay was fantastic.Small issue with our Puppy was handled with out any judgement at all - very understanding and responsive (although I was very honest before leaving, which many may not have been).From our first trip : -Absolutely fantastic stay, from the staff to the rooms. Spotlessly clean throughout. Food was amazing and there is no other hotel that we have stayed at has been quite so dog friendly, they even have their own sausage cooked when they join you for breakfast (which is always delicious). They truly do make the dogs feel as welcome as the paying guests. We will see you all again soon!!

Family of 4 ,had a meal here very nice ,food excellent, the only downside was we were sat near the door and people kept going out and leaving tge door open ,and there was a cold draft on our food while we were eating, but otherwise everything was fine ,could do with having a sign up saying please close door in welsh and English. X

Lovely stay. Although a little remote, only a 10 min walk from train station. Bus stop right outside hotel. In a small village. Stayed 4 nights. Brought our dog. Very accommodating. Even the dog was able to sit in the dining room too at meal times. All staff very friendly and polite. Couldnt do enough for you. Would stay again. Thank you

lovely food!! forgot we’d booked and then had to faff around with tables. the chef also didn’t get told we’d finished our starters so then had to wait for our mains… it was extremely busy though!! the waiter was amazing and helped us!! all in all would go again:)

Ist visit, we weren't staying at the hotel. We had a really lovely pint of lager and the roast beef in a yorkshire pudding special. Food excellent, pleasing atmosphere, prices as you would expect for a really quality hotel/pub near the coast.

Called in for some food as we were just driving past. Managed to get a table inside. Food was absolutely delicious. We all ordered different dishes and all were lovely. Dog friendly which was great for us.We enjoyed the food so much we came back the next 2 nights. Staff lovely and very obliging.Would definitely return. Would recommend to book although they have quite appt of outside seating too.

Gets very busy in the summer so booking strongly advised. Parking can fill up quickly. Staff are alll excellent. Great chef there currently with great pie and hunters chicken on the menu though unfortunately he is leaving in September. Whole place currently up for sale so we shall see what happens. Large outdoor seating area, good for dogs. Regular live music events.

We had a quick meal on a Sunday evening. A lovely home made Mac n cheese, and a Thai curry with lovely curry leaves. Very quick to serve and very tasty. Dogs are welcome inside, with nice treats available. Staff were really friendly and took care to make sure people were happy. Great outdoor seating too, with plenty of shade. Gets very busy summer weekend lunches
