I would not recommend this company to anyone. I recently purchased a Subaru Justy which came with an electrical fault, causing the hazard lights to flash intermittently. I contacted them to ask for help and was told I could drop off the car and they would look into it. The car was with them for 3 weeks, leaving me without any transport, and in that time apparently saw a number of 'specialists' and I received a number of patronising emails about how complex the diagnosis would be and that they couldn't replicate the issue. I got fed up and collected my car - on the drive home this issue was replicated within minutes. I booked the car in with a different company the next day to be looked at - a mobile auto electrician. They came out and diagnosed and fixed the problem in ten minutes. So I have no idea what was being done with this car for 3 weeks. It has a number of other issues too which I'm slowly sorting through but their communications and the way this issue was handled were terrible.UPDATE: I also noticed they changed their name on Google to ‘Bristol cars’ after I left my 1 star review, even though they’re actually called Hanham Family Cars. Scam artists - avoid at all costs.

DO NOT USE . 100% scam artists. Bought a car from them recently. Immediately had a fault with it. They refused to help or pay for repairs even though it was under warranty which I payed more for.

I wouldn't recommend this company. They sold me a car without a logbook, and after committing to getting a new one with the DVLA (and me chasing them up several times), 8 months later they haven't made any steps to complete important ownership documents to confirm part of my purchase. There are also issues with the car from purchase, where the 'pre-sales inspection report' was completed without the checks taking place, and I had to flag visible issues to the salesperson.

Hanham Family Cars - Husband bought a Vauxhall Astra, they said they’d do all the checks and order us the missing wing mirror cap, which hasn’t been received. Obviously no checks done, apart from a hoover, as as soon as we got it home the battery was tested as it went flat and needed to be replaced. Then we discovered that the alternator was not working at all, mechanic told us that very recently a scrap yard broken alternator was put on, still had the temp pen on it, and no charge was coming out of it at all. Avoid buying there and spend the extra hundreds you will end up spending on repairs and a useless warranty on a better place / car!

Bought a car and 3-month warranty from Vikas, the dealership's name is Your Next Car - the dealer did not tell me the car had failed the MOT and I suspect they did a botch job on the repairs, the clutch and clutch fork went after about 700 miles in the second month - this was not covered by warranty apparently, after coming out of the mechanics, the exhaust fell out about a month later - I've spent over £1000 pounds fixing up all the issues with the car, it was £2500 in the first place, so for £3500 I could have probably gotten something more reliable, now I'm waiting to see what else will happen with it. After initially saying they will help pay for the clutch repairs, I've been sending emails and calling for 4 months, being assured constantly that they will get back to me.

Messaged them on Facebook to say is a car was available and told me to stop wasting his time and blocked me. Something definitely isn’t right!!

Bought a car that was so called on good working order. Dosent even start as has faulty battery and says engine malfunctioning. When contacted about this they have blocked us and refuse to take it back. Trading standards have been informed. Dont buy anything from them!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! They change their name every few months & all previous company names all have 1 star reviews with horror stories. I have made the mistake of buying a car from here in the past. Be warned!
