Chelmsford Car Boot Sale
I'm new to the area and love a car boot sale, decided to try here after reading reviews online and videos saying how big and full it was every week (at £3 entry fee it must be) but I was very disappointed. Not very many stalls at all and all spaced far apart, I guess to give the illusion of a bigger turn out. Also I arrived before 9 but buyers were already in and buying despite it saying buyers aren't allowed in until 9. I'll try again next week.

Nothing special for selling or buying had a fishing reel stolen which always grates on me £12 for a pitch too much when you don’t sell that much

Where do you start??!!£3 entry fee per person.... laughableVery average bootsaleAttitude of the orange vest creatures leaves alot to be desired.Person who runs this is clearly laughing all the way to the bank.Only good thing is it being a hard ground bootsale.

Always do really well selling here. Glad it is open all year round because it's the best in Chelmsford by a mile. Hour to set up in peace, reasonable start times and on solid hardstanding ground - Can't beat it

Chelmsford Car Boot Sale
People were quick to write this place off when it just opened up as many don’t understand that a new business takes time to build up.This car boot is now one of the best in the country, with many travelling hours to visit it.Flat hardstanding ground and all sellers get an hour to set up in complete peace, perfect if you can’t stand being hounded by buyers as you’re setting up.Brilliant all round. Give it a go people, every Sunday at the Sandon Park and Ride site.

Chelmsford Car Boot Sale
Never seen so many stalls. Came as a buyer on Sunday and it was only 50p to get in. Kids go free and there is free on site car parking too. Picked up some really nice items. This is what I would call a proper car boot sale. Great place.

Chelmsford Car Boot Sale
I really like that as a seller you get an hour to set up in peace without any buyers trying to pester you. Brilliant site with lots of space and lots of buyers. Everyone really seems to like it here.
