The guys here are fantastic. Efficient MOT service which was so easy to arrange and they even helped me change my key battery past closing time when I picked the car up. Would not hesitate to recommend!

Disappointed. Got this garage to check my breaks when I had MOT done at the start of September, they confirmed they had half life left, now I’ve had to take my car to another garage in an emergency as the breaks and discs are completely gone. Also trying to charge me £700+ for suspension change, alternative garage only charged me £300 odd. I understand with cost of living etc but this garage is very local to me and I had heard good things but clearly the breaks were not checked properly and the prices are too extreme.

With out a dought the best garage there is! After months of my van being out of action due to warrentys etc! these guys done an mot and found the fault and turned this around within a day. Now my business can get back on track, not enough stars to rate this garage!! 10 / 10 great service! Great communication and great work! Thanks alot guys you have really saved my business!

Outstanding ServiceTwo years ago, my Ford Smax died whilst away and was brought back to Rowland Ridgwell’s and sadly I had to depart with it due to extensive damage, anyway we purchased a replacement car and since then Rowland Ridgwell’s have serviced and Mot’d my Kuga and Mini and yesterday the Kuga had a replacement Cambelt and water pump.I can’t thank them enough for the service, communication, and honest professional approach from the entire Team! and would not hesitate to recommend them.Steve Jones

I took my truck in for an mot, Service was good and the chap at the reception was helpful. Until the mechanic came back to me and said I will need to have my handbrake repaired.Someone in the work line broke the handbrake on my vehicle and rather than apologies, the answer I got from the mechanic was along the lines of you can’t prove it was us. (Not his words but I got the gist of what he was saying.)A sad moment in time if you have to do a walk around video before going to the mechanic just to be safe.What’s more another chap came out while I was speaking very calmly with the receptionist and mechanic and in a belittling manner told me the other mechanic drives thousands of cars a day and he would no if he drove off with the handbrake on. Well he clearly did not. Possibly because as he said “it’s not that often that we get your sort of vehicle in.” So I presume he either did not know how the brake worked or he believed it was an automatic disengagement of the handbrake when you put it in gear and drive off.As much as I respect sticking up for your mates I was offended by his manners, just to walk in interrupt a conversation and try to convince me that I am wrong.I can’t prove a specific person broke the hand brake but the handbrake was engaged by me when I dropped it off because of the hill and, after inspection the cable had been completely snapped. Clearly who ever drove it, put it in gear and gave it a fair amount of welly to do that amount of damage to it.I love my car, and I was really hurt by the lack of responsibility shown towards me. Now I find myself with a large bill to pay at another mechanics because of this.It’s a real shame because they have always been really polite in the past. I don’t think I will be returning to them again with that vehicleI believe my review is fair and I did tell the reception how I felt about being spoken to like that and hurt that my beloved truck was damaged. He was very kind and I feel he understood my frustration.I hope that this review will help others make the right choices before booking there vehicles in.

Realised my MOT had run out and couldn’t renew the Tax. Phoned them and they told me to drop the car off and they would fit it in for me. Was done within two hours. Very professional and extremely helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

Pricey. Did MOT and minor service. Wouldn't give a quote for the minor service until work done. Then charged me £240 just for a minor service (most of which was labour.) You'll get better value elsewhere.

Avoid! Damaged my fuel line during a service and then made me pay for the repairs saying it was nothing to do with them when I took it back as it stunk of petrol. Shocking service and released a vehicle in an unsafe condition on to the road.Update in response to reply: The car was dropped off without any mechanical issues. Upon collection of the car, as soon as I turned on the ignition the petrol light came on which isn't surprising as the car was leaking fuel. I filled the car with petrol on the way home and the car smelt of fuel when I parked but thought this was due to the fact that I had just filled it. The car continued to smell of fuel when I next used it on Monday and I called on Tuesday to have it looked at. I find it highly unlikely that the hose would have burst in the 100 yards that you drove the car from your car park to the workshop and back again. The reason I agreed to pay when you called was the down to the fact that I needed the car and it was obviously not safe to drive so had to get it fixed as soon as possible. I also planned to discuss this when coming in to collect the car but you were not interested and brushed off the fact that the car smelt of petrol as soon as I arrived home on Friday.
