Improve International UK

This review is in regards to the Small Animal Medicine Online Learning. I don't have any regrets in my life except paying 1000's for this course. Honestly shocking how much you spend for basically just notes to read. It's a massive shame and you need to do better, try some webinars, live tutorials, focused discussions etc. There needs to be some sort of interaction to improve learning and for actual value for money.

Currently on the small animal surgery cert. Really enjoying the course, good mix of practical and theory and great speakers. Sometimes think organisation could be better.Clarity over the exam process could also be clearer.

My experiences relate to their cardiology certificate.Throughout the course we had poor and misleading communication from Improve. We were required to attend in-person in Swindon for one module, with hotel and travel costs, to find that the lecturer wasn't going to turn up. Our exam date was moved, causing issues for several candidates who had prior arrangements. And the examination process! My case report was rejected for utilising a specialist second opinion, despite their guidelines stating that this would be okay so long as it was referenced. They are also quite shadowy when it comes to providing feedback on individual marks, and indeed pass requirements, and appear to almost pass and fail candidates on a whim.I would avoid Improve at all costs. There are several reputable and competent CPD and certificate providers out there. There is really no need to consider this organisation.

Currently doing the SA Surgical Certificate.Enjoying it really. Good mix of practical and theoretical sessions. Its good to learn specific techniques from renowned specialists. Good breaks to socialise with like minded individualsCan honestly say it's helping me much to develop my career a step forward

I am in my final year of the small animal surgery certificate. The lecturers have been fantastic and there has been a great mix of theory and practical sessions throughout. The course has encouraged me to push myself more out of my confidence zone and advance my surgical skills. The communication from improve could be better at times but I have found the whole thing very useful and would recommend it to fellow vets.

I am currently doing the Small Animal Surgery certificate and have found that there is a great balance between theory and practical sessions. My confidence has increased so much when it comes to doing less familiar surgeries and I would recommend this to anyone considering undertaking a surgical certificate.

I am working towards the SA surgery certificate with Improve, attending Swindon.The lecturers have been fantastic for the 2 year course, greatly improving my surgical confidence. They are all approachable and make the course content relevant to us.The practical sessions are excellent with smaller groups and good equipment.I would definitely recommend the surgery certificate with Improve.

Terrible experience with these. I paid over £10k for the advanced medicine cert in 2020. I booked it when we were already in the midst of covid as an attendance based course. There was only 5 days of attendance then they switched to online which I struggle with concentration hence wanting in person.They cancelled all the practicals then arranged them for a weekend with 2 weeks notice- too short notice for me to get the weekend off work and attend. They wouldn't give me a refund saying I could do the exam still without the training. I wanted the training before the exam as that is what I paid for. The only way to do that was to wait 2 years for it to be run again. 2 years on They have cancelled the first week in November as they didn't have enough delegates. Then they cancelled the January week on the Friday 3 days before thr start woth absolute no reason provided. They are refusing to give me a refund saying they hope to run it later in the year. I have used my work holiday already to get time to do this and now it is mostly online. I am sick if emailing them. They makes thousands and thousands from their expensive courses. I worked so hard for that money as I was paying for it myself rather than my employer. I feel utterly betrayed and would never trust them again

I had 4 courses booked in the last three years and all were cancelled at very short notice. Their communication was slow and no explanation was given why the courses were cancelled.
