Basic station with no amenities. Best points about it are that the parking is free if you can get a place and it's a direct route to Leeds, Manchester and London. That's about it really apart from that it's not far from where I live. Investment needed I'd say.

No good facilities like toilets ticket offices and no lift for platform 1 & 2. No lift or anything for platform 1 and 2 means you can't go up if your disabled and if you have a pushchair you might struggle getting it up those stairs. That means if your a disabled you can't get up so you cant access trains to Leeds or London and stations in between.

One side of the station does not have a ramp, just lots of steps. Terrible for wheelchair users and people with prams and luggage.

Very basic and hard to access platforms/station. Old and run down although the parking area was expanded recently - No amenities or toilets. They keep threatening to spend money on improvements and a lift of some sort for disabled, but no changes at all in many many years. Strange as its a major route to Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, London etc.

I am here everyday, it is a very primitive train station.no amenities, no ticket machine, only 1 shelter and very exposed when the elements close in. It needs improvement
