Conwy Pirate Festival
A fun free festival. The pirate battle was definitely the stand out part with muskets and cannons being fired from the Castle, Quay and Tall(ish) ship. Bands played and there were many, many, many Jack Sparrows.There were a few things for kids but it didn't feel massively geared towards them. My son loved getting his card stamped to get his pirate certificate. It does get busy, very busy. The cannon fire was very loud, so consider this if you have issues with noise or crowds.They put on an excellent event, it would be great if they could have a few things on at the park too, especially for younger kids. It is a free event though so can't expect everything. Absolutely worth a visit.
