Philip is a great Hung Kuen master (a branch of Kung Fu of the ancient Shaolin lineage) and an experienced teacher with tremendous passion. As a complete beginner, I felt totally at ease and accommodated. The classes are enjoyable. I have been learning and improving quickly. I highly recommend this school for anyone who wants to learn traditional martial arts, increase their fitness level, or just make some new friends.

As a 35 yr old, who never touched Kung Fu except by watching movies. I cannot believe I can now perform some stances with a long staff.Hung Kuen Academy UK provides a traditional Kung Fu/ Martial Arts class from Hong Kong Master. I can learn from the very beginning like Stances, Hand forms, kicks, weapons, etc.Master Philip taught me step-by-step. He guided me to explore so much more in the Kung Fu world. Amazingly I can participate in some skills always shown in movies.It's good to train my physical, moving technique, and attitude.I enjoy keeping going to it.
