Bury & Walkers LLP Solicitors

This company were used by the owners of the house I have finally now bought. It has taken 6 months for a straightforward house sale to complete. They did not answer my solicitors queries and couldnt even be bothered to acknowledge that an email had been received. A courtesy response is a basic element of customer service. Very unprofessional, customer service shocking & got their fingers in too many pies to cope with their workload.

Having used these solicitors some 18 years Ago to purchase my house. I discovered by accident that my house wasn't registered with the Land Registry despite paying the fee. Luckily I had kept paperwork. When I rang solicitors to raise this they said there would be a charge to which I informed them I had already paid 18 years ago. Complete incompetence.Fast forward and I am selling a property and my buyer is with these solicitors. Low and behold it's taken nearly 3 months so far. There is no chain but discovered that both the branches had opened files on same property! Obviously as the seller I cannot contact to ask who is incompetent this time but I would never recommend this solicitors in a million years!

Andrew Crothers is the number one man for prevailing in incredibly complex Family Law cases. Cannot recommend highly enough. The supreme politeness and care of all the staff I have spoken to or encountered at this firm is up there with prestige car dealerships and private hospitals

By far the absolute worst solicitors in the UK. Andrew is a useless and stuck up person who’ll only help you if he wants to. I came to these with help getting a divorce and just as the ball started rolling (these didn’t do a thing by the way) I always paid in full and requested help from Andrew who then just blanked me. Never returned calls or emails or anything. I had to find a new solicitor and I’m glad I did because the one I used was incredible. Avoid these at all costs.

Fantasic service from Day 1. Lots of useful information and understanding. I couldnt be more pleased if i had won the lottery, with the result ive got from using Bury & Walkers and to Mr A. Crothers.Very professional throughout.I now get to see my son on a regular basis. Im so happy im over the moon. The worst ever I have been experienced so far, I called to change ownership of commercial properties, been waiting for more than 3 weeks without any Email or calling from them. Making request again the downstairs receptionist was rude and had no telephone manners, it sounds like she doesn’t care anything, I think she need basic customer services training or she’d better get herself another job which she is really interested to. And till now it’s been over a month I still have no idea who is going to dealing my case, carrying on like that it looks like gona takes ages to finalise the leasehold agreement. I would not recommend this place to anyone anymore

Just sold and completed the sale of my mother's house . I would highly recommend Mr D Mayne who dealt with the conveyancing - he is very thorough- professional and proactive. I am very happy with the service I received .The solicitors costs involved I found to be very reasonable and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. I personally will be back when I sell my house.

Have just used this company for the 2nd time with my house sale and thoroughly recommend them. Ian Carnley is the chap you need....he is efficient, friendly,professional and above all a really lovely chap to deal with. He made the whole process seem effortless and whenever he called he was always proficient and a pleasure to speak to. I’d also like to say that had he not been representing me with my onward purchase the sale would have fallen through as the firm representing my sale( this company was allocated as I had used purple bricks estate agents) were totally ineffective. Slow to respond or return calls. Causing lots of distress to my Mother
