I had a couple of pints of tasty and nicely looked after cask pale ale, and my friend had a *strong* but sweet and peary Bristol cider in the small and friendly, down to earth bar.Staff and locals were super helpful when I had a query about getting some catering for a family gathering too.

We have just visited the eight jolly brewers.We are have been regular visitors to the pub over the years and have always enjoyed the pleasant ambience.However We were appalled by the language used by the customers and the landlord.We will not return.

Popped in when we couldn't get into the beer festival and we had a great night. Staff were superb and the range and quality of the real ales were outstanding.

Had a few beers here during a short stay in Gainsborough. Staff were lovely and the range and quality of the real ales were outstanding. Great friendly bar!

Tuesday 2nd December 2023I visited this tremendous real ale pub usually has 8 ales on handpumpThis pub has superb interior to it landlord and his bar staff today exceptional and so to are the locals who love to give friendly down to earth banter to each other the landlord and bar staff, and anyone who comes into this place to drink its fantastic alesThis pub0is a place on its own the best in Gainsborough by a country mile.I wish there were pubs in Bradford like thisTo the landlord keep up the good work there and I like your taste of music!

Nice local with a good atmosphere. Lots of real ale and cask beers. Lovely staff, very welcoming.
