I use English on a daily basis for writing texts, talking to people and teaching classes. I think I can express myself fairly well, but I also notice stagnation and much difference with the language of native speakers. This is why I signed up for a weekly class with Oliver Bartman. We're having these for almost a year now, and I feel progress in many fields: pronunciation, vocabulary, idioms, ... This is not surprising: Oliver is an eloquent speaker and a flexible teacher who has an ear for small, but recurrent mistakes and is also open to my suggestions regarding topics or textbooks. Our classes consist of diverse elements: talking about various kinds of topics, discussing concrete questions I have regarding grammar or words, correcting lectures I’d given and recorded, selecting useful proverbs, … I can certainly recommend him to everybody who wants to improve their English language.
