If I could give no stars I would have.We rented a cottage over new year through Pillow Derbyshire, there were a lot of problems when we arrived and we had no support from the 24 hour helpline. We stayed one night but only because when we realised that no response was coming, it was too late to drive home. One of our main problems was that the cottage had not been cleaned, which is a breach of the consumer rights act, ( stained sheets; dirty en-suite;previous occupants used toiletries in bathroom; rubbish on bedroom floor; dirty pans and cutlery). We took photos which we sent as evidence to Pillow Derbyshire. The response we had especially from the senior manager was dismissive and rude. We later discovered that one of the directors of the cleaning company was also the senior manager of pillow Derbyshire and our complaint about the cleanliness was never addressed. We finally received a partial refund but only on the understanding that this was an end to the matter. My review of the cottage has not been published on Pillow Partners website.After reading the response , my estimation of this company has gone down even further.We left the property at 16.15 the following day and no maintenance team had called and we had left the isolation switch on.I forwarded photos of the poor cleanliness to pillow Derbyshire and was told that the report from the company said it had all been cleaned. It seemed to us that the cleaning team had focused on arranging cushions rather than basic cleaning.It would have been good to receive an apology that this should not have happened rather than being made to feel that we were at fault in making a complaint.

We arrived at our accommodation near Chester yesterday to find it in a terrible state. When we spoke to a lady called Naomi she told us to save the receipt from our meal out which Pillow Partners would reimburse us for due to the fact we couldn’t use the property we’d paid a princely some to rent for our half term break. Unfortunately we decided to drive the 3 hours home and not take up the alternative accommodation offered which was not the same specification as what we booked so Naomi withdrew the offer to pay for our meal, a very poor effort from Pillow Partners! Who would pay to stay in a house like this?

This company has been contacted to try an help a neighbour of one of their properties.Neighbours fuse box is in their property and electric has gone off. They have a small baby! Pillow partners are no help. Won’t contact the owner for them, and won’t help themselves.Shame on you!

When we got to the flat, we did not understand how the key safe worked (I have not had issues with any others in Scotland or England) and called for help. The person on the phone did not give a proper explanation on how to get into the flat and we ended up settling on having someone come over to open the flat for us, for which the company somehow felt justified in charging 35 pounds. Outside of this irritating experience, the flat was very nice.

I stayed at a property in Glasgow Scotland managed by Pillow Partners for work. Everything had been arranged and i had a self check in which was easy and seamless. I had an issue with connecting to the wifi and contacted the company who responded swiftly with the information i needed and this got me on line.The property was lovely, very central and spotlessly clean. i would have no hesitation in staying again.

Payment kept not going through via their PillowPartners website after part of the payment went through no issue at all with Booking.com. Don't know why the full payment can't just go through Booking.com as it's very inconvenient. Had to wait until the Monday to call them to get them to confirm the payment, which they didn't take any details for, just said the name and cleared it..

They could not have let us down more if they tried. After a 6 hour drive through Storm Babet on the Thursday evening we arrived at the agreed time to find the place in the process of being cleaned and also told that the boiler was not working. We couldn't unload or relax while the property cleaner was at work. After finally getting in we found there was no bed linen on any of the beds. This was put right sometime after 8pm. The property manager who brought the linen assured us an engineer would be out the following morning and took my details but refused to give out her direct number telling me she would send me her details via text. The boiler, which had been temporarily reset totally packed up that night leaving the house very cold on Friday morning. The engineer did not turn up and we made call after call after call, all with the same promise that someone was on their way. After a full day without heating in the middle of this storm, so very cold, I rang again early evening and was told I should go and buy some heaters from the local Morrisons supermarket". Yep- go buy some heaters. £75 later and having wasted another hour out of my time getting heaters on top of waiting in for engineers and wasting time on the phone

Not a company you can trust. They told me that due to a family emergency they had to cancel the airbnb booking. But they said I need to cancel it on airbnb to avoid charges and get a refund. That was a flat out lie. If I had cancelled it, they would avoid the penalties and I wouldn't get a refund or any compensation through airbnb. Very unethical behaviour on their part.
