Very tidy allotment all well managed brilliant people looking after allotments enjoyed open day

Great allotment, friendly people. A great on site shop a lot cheaper than the garden centres. Fresh air, exercise and fresh produce at the end of all your hard work. The only draw back is the heavy clay soil which either gets water logged in wet weather or bakes Rock solid in the sun. Having said that to say we are total novices and in our first year of having an allotment we have managed to grow a decent amount of vegetables.
