SIXT Car Hire - Edinburgh Airport

Really good. Would definitely recommend and get the full comprehensive insurance as driving in Scotland has alot of potholes and you should protect yourself from damages.

We had reserved an automatic vehicle under a friend’s name, she had to leave Scotland so working with Sixt customer service, everything transferred to me without a problem. Check out and return was quick and easy. Billing was accurate. Vehicle was in great condition.

I would recommend everyone to rent a car with sixt, they were super friendly! And everything was explained very clearly, Aaron also helped us great at the return box with our questions about the further arrangement, car rentals need more people like Aaron! Honest and friendly!!

I chose them because their agency in this location had decent reviews compared to the competition. First of all, there was literally zero wait time at the counter, maybe because it's a little more expensive and everyone else just took their chances. There were countless people in line at the other counters, just the time I saved was worth the little extra money.The people at the reception were very nice and helpful, they gave me a very good service. I got a free upgrade to a better car because the booked one was not ready.The car was just great, new and clean. Return was easy and no issues so far (it's worth mentioning that I usually buy zero-liability protection, so maybe that smooths things out a bit).

I wasn’t too sure at the beginning of what kind of car I was going to get it! After the staff member initiated me on the car I was very well pleased and comfortable for the whole three weeks of my stay! The car was actually perfect for my needs… Thank you

Originally booked two vehicles for a trip to Scotland, been awaiting a response and reimbursement for the second vehicle since July. No email for customer services and no reply to the enquiries sent via the Sixt App.Could someone please contact me regarding this and if we can resolve I'll be happy to remove the poor feedback review.

The agent was extremely helpful and walked to car to verify it would work for us(it did). He was quick and efficient getting paperwork done and us on the road. Would definitely recommend as all the cars are more of the luxury brands and was cheaper than most other rentals. Thank you!

I'm pretty cynical of car rental companies to begin with, so I wasn't necessarily prepared to write a positive review. However, the whole process of collecting the car and returning it was perhaps the smoothest I have ever experienced.Amazingly, when we went to check in for our car there was no line at SIXT, but the line was out the door elsewhere. This made me nervous at first, thinking maybe we made the wrong call, but the individual at reception was very helpful and got us squared away in minutes.The return process was also easy and well-marked upon our return to the airport. The man who looked everything over was courteous, polite, and gave us the green light in less than a minute.All in all, a very good experience!
