What a beautiful place.Good location,Comfortable and spacious and well equipped.Everything you would want for a family holiday.Also great resources for rainy days.

Great place to stay, lovely house!

Visiting family staying here, a lovely spacious house in a good location. Short walk to distillery and village shop, right on the beach and the pier so fantastic for canoeing and fishing. Large garden and lots of space for parking, modern interior and furnishings.

Pier House is all that we expected and more! The house was extremely well equipped, providing everything we needed for our holiday. The space was great for a large group. Highly recommended!The outside area is stunning with amazing views that we didn't tire of. The beach and pier, which you can fish from, provided lots of entertainment. One morning we woke to find six sheep snacking on seaweed right outside the bedroom window!Islay is a beautiful and diverse Island. There was so much to do ranging from wonderful beaches to woodland walks. There is plenty of wildlife to observe from both land and sea.The distilleries provided another type of entertainment but are also different from one another and very interesting.The people were friendly and very helpful. We met many locals who will remain in our memory of our wonderful holiday at Pier House. Islay.

Very good

Stayed here twice now and it has a very homely feel to it. It's proximity to the water means you fall asleep to the sounds of the waves on the beach.Well equipped for eight we would definitely consider if returning to the island.
