The Booth Wood Inn
It was our first visit here and we enjoyed it very much. The staff were fantastic, cheerful and helpful. My husband is a wheelchair user and the team could have been more helpful. We had a wonderful Sunday lunch. We will definitely visit again.This will be a fantastic stop off on a journey across the M62. There’s a nice dog walk nearby.

Called in for lunch, great menu wanted so many things will have to return, I went for the bhaji burger which was excellent, staff were all great.

Friendly atmosphere, attentive staff. A great “retro” menu with smaller portions. Also a fantastic specials board and a tasty range of desserts. Highly recommended.

Great food, had a booth wood burger, the Mrs had a lamb burger. Both were well presented and tasted great. Good selection of drinks behind the bar. All staff were excellent, attentive and helpful. It's a lovely pub, some good outdoor seating. Will call again.

Food was absolutely delicious...but I would say that this pub is *not* a child friendly pub..they are not overly welcoming of children and ours were pretty well behaved...We sat outside...as recommended by staff, and the majority of staff were really eye rolly and unwelcoming our us and our children. The lady who seemed to be in charge was pleasant but clearly not pleased to have us dining with them.Also parking available on the dangerous road outside.

6 of us met for lunch. The food overall was good. Sadly a serving of the gammon was hard and tough. Our waitress apologised and then informed us that they wouldn't charge for that diners ice cream. First class service. The staff overall were friendly, helpful and efficient. Overall a good place to go for lunch.

***Updated Review***Returned to try the vegan menu, which was excellent: good variety offered for all courses and all seemed to be homemade from whole ingredients ie no processed meat replacements. Food was very well cooked and presented and portions were very generous. Service was excellent. If you have a vegan in your party you will have no issues here. Top notch.***We had a really nice family lunch here. The menu is fairly classic British on the whole but very varied, there are a number of specials and also smaller plates from a retro menu". We’ve been going to the Boothwood for over 8yrs now and the food and service is always 5* the menu has something for everyone. A great “retro” menu with smaller portions Mon-Friday. Also a fantastic specials board and a tasty range of desserts. Highly recommend if your in the area as just off the M62 J22 In Rishworth.

I chose from retro menu, smaller dishes £8 but pie big enough for me. Lamb,ham and apple pie? Chicken souvlaki. Pudding seemed to be cake - had pecan, toffee & banana . Very good value therefore. Nachos to share starter. Nice vibe, live band 3 on strings, mandolin, singing oasis song.
