Living in a terraced, Edwardian house, despite many attempts to miceproof the property, over the years I've had regular recourse to use pest control services. I can honestly say Steve Funnell stands out as being the most thorough, conscientious, empathetic technician I have encountered. He carried out both the eradication of the problem and ensuring any entry points were blocked with great care and provided good information to address my questions and concerns. He emphatically refused to accept my offer of a very well deserved tip, assuring me he was just doing his job. He is a very pleasant, extremely competent and trustworthy technician.

By far one of the easiest reviews I have ever written.Steven (who covers South East London) attended for mice in our kitchen. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, reliable, he was a pleasure to deal with and is a credit to the company. It is becoming harder these days to find genuinely nice, competent and honest tradespeople, and Steven is all of the above.Dealing with the head office was also very easy, so I would have no hesitation to recommend Contego to anyone looking for pest control services.

Christopher Bladon came to my property to eradicate squirrels from the roof cavity . He was very courteous, empathic and understanding of my worries about killing any creature, explaining gently that the squirrels could be a fire risk if left to their own devicesChristopher is a real gentleman who I could tell within seconds would be trustworthy and so he is . He did the job successfully , even giving me some wire to block the passage through broken soffit rings should our furry tailed asylum seekers decide to choose our roof space as a future refuge.Thank you Chris .

Lewis came due to a mouse problem. He was really friendly and professional. He kept us constantly updated and explained everything he was doing and why. Extremely professional, polite, and would definitely recommend.

This companies appointment was made via Falkirk Council to arrve today between 8am and 5pm. I phoned the office and woman said he's not answering his phone but should be out. Still nothing so phoned back same thing not answering his phone. Lee is his name so sat in all day for nothing. Avoid at all costs absolute joke!!

Scott and Joe attended to tackle a huge wasp nest in our loft. Scott arrived first; he kept me informed about his arrival time and turned up punctually. Very polite and pleasant and I found him very knowledgeable. Due to the size and position of the nest a second man was required and Joe joined. Like Scott a very nice and pleasant man. The problem with the wasps have been solved and we are very happy! Scott and Joe are credits to the company!!! Would definitely recommend!

Matt and Jake came this morning to deal with a wasp nest. We could not have wished for more friendly, professional representatives of your company. The whole process was explained to us on how they were going to treat this infestation. They were very thorough, to the point of finding two nests, not one. Would recommend your company without hesitation. Great thanks to the boys.

We had a problem with mice in the house. Lewis who came out was brilliant so professional and very understanding about my children who have special needs. He took every precaution to make sure not only where the mice gone but no chemicals or traps left where my children could potentially get to them. He is a real credit to the team and such a lovely person can’t thank him or the company enough. Thank you

The first pest controller that came out was great, very informative and helpful. But since then the service has been very poor.The second of three visits was a day early but I received no correspondence of this and as such missed the appointment because I was at work. I was told it still counted as one of the three visits required to sort the mouse in my home.Today is presumably visit three of three which I was told would originally be on Friday 20th, only to be sent a text the day before to say it was now today, Thursday 19th between 8:00am and 5:00pm. As I write this it is minutes before 5:00pm and I still have not received communication of their arrival.The service is poor and communication is bad. I have had a pest issue for 5 weeks now, it took 2 weeks for my housing association to get Contego to confirm a date and 3 weeks with only one visit while the rodent is still causing damage to my home. It shouldn’t take this long to start solving a problem.
