Woman at the till had a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp,couldnt get a smile out of her if she wanted to. Bacon and sauage bap well well well what a load of dog doo. Didnt know if i was chewing bacon or cardboard and dont even get me started on the sausage,a hot one would have been nice.amd the cappuccino was alright if you enjoy a bitter one. Just happy knowing i dont ever have to eat this again, espeically fot the prices you're asking for.

Went with a friend today and requested a ham salad soft brown bap with salad cream and lots of butter. Two baps in the counter one seeded one not, repeatably asked which one I wanted, my friend and I looked at each other in question. Ok they may have been busy but I wanted a soft brown bap with lots of butter? there were two in the pre prepared counter on offer. I ended up with not a fresh one with lots of butter but what was in the counter with added salad cream. Not a Simmons experience at all. I won't be going back, I was tired and just wanted what I was prepared to pay for but had to settle for the counter food that may have been left for a while. Fresh is best and I am always willing to wait. Maybe Simmons spoil me but its made in front of my eyes, If i pay a premium price I expect fresh.

This bakery sells lovely bread and rolls however, their hygiene standards are quite poor, even during times of peak Covid rates. They handle your bread with their hands and then go on to handle cash which is a big NO-NO in the food industry. Such a pity!

Had a very nice warm smilely welcome by Sandra (Thank you) and had two sausage baps, and one sausage roll and coffee. Scoffed the lot - delicious.The sausage roll was probably the best i have ever had, and I know a thing or two about sausage rolls ! Im def going back for more ! - Go there you wont be dissapointed. Thanks again Sandra

Oh my. What a shop. Incredible range of goods. Traditional value service. You can buy cheaper elsewhere, but not of this quality. Their sausage rolls are a meal in themselves.

This bakery has nice food, but I've had some pretty uncomfortable encounters with the staff. They often prioritize serving white customers over others. Whenever I was waiting to order food, the staff almost always asked the white customers behind me first. One time, a lady behind me in line told the staff I should be the next, then guess what, the staff looked at me and immediately walked away. Another time a staff accidentally asked me first before a white customer, and when the staff realised her mistake, she immediately apologised to the white customer. They never ever apologised to me.

Good quick and easy food. The service was decent but seems to be particularly busy on weekends so service is not that quick. The sandwiches are amazing especially the BLT Bap which was on point. Get there in the morning to get stuff as in the afternoon most stuff is sold out!
