Carpetright

We had a home visit for my elderly mother. Everything was very easy and straightforward. Unfortunately due to a medical issue I had to cancel the fitting the day before, again this was easy and dealt with professionally and we were given time to rearrange at our convenience. Can highly recommend carpetright from start to finish they were brilliant.

Excellent service at store from Claire. Really friendly and helpful. Got a bargain on 2 end of roll offers. Fitting a little expensive but well worth the 2 guys did a super job and looks really good. The foam underlay feels nice and bouncy when you walk on it. Courtesy call later on was appreciated also. Really impressive.

Called in today for some Lino, found what we needed and found the sales assistant. She asked us to be seated while served another customer. We waited 30 minutes, she came to serve us, we needed the lino right away. She said she was not able to cut the amount we needed as she had never done it before. I asked her to get someone who can. She said they are short staffed and if we waited till 12 pm a new starter will be coming. Also she couldn’t take payment as the till is down. Thank you Carpetright for nothing, please note this place is a must to avoid.

Attended Carpet right, Cathedral retail park, Wakefield, on Wednesday to buy carpet and other floor covering. I felt fortunate to have Claire deal with me to do this. What an absolute pleasure it was to meet her. Claire was thoroughly outstanding in terms of her professionalism, friendliness, knowledge of the products and overall service. Claire was very skilled in calculating how much carpet and other floor covering would be required and was also patient in explaining everything in a way I could understand. What an amazing shopping experience Claire provided. I have no doubt that Claire is a huge assess to the company. Thank you for first class service.

*Double Payments* Went today to buy a off-cut of Lino for £36. I paid via chip and pin and the card machine approved payment and asked to remove card. The sales guy said the payment didn’t go through. He asked me to make payment again on the card even though I said it approved on the card machine. 10mins later 2 payments showed on my online banking from carpetright so I had to go back to the shop to get one payment reimbursed back on my card. Be aware of this people because some people won’t think twice about this and some people don’t check their balances for additional charges etc. Not sure if this was just to see how clued up I was with my finances or if it was a clear error in their part of not knowing their computer system but I don’t like being messed about like that. So I won’t be buying from this company again. BE-CAREFUL PEOPLE!!!
