Forever grateful to lynne and her team at platinum vets. Our 14 week old puppy developed an upper respiratory infection and my own vets treated him with 2 different types of antibiotics, he never improved and became so weak he couldn’t walk properly and struggled to breathe.after 2 weeks of constant visits he was referred to a “specialist” one of the best in the country. Here we were informed of various potential issues including neurological problems. We were told we would need to pay £12000 to investigate the cause of his symptoms. This would include General anaesthetic, MRI and CT scans, a spinal tap, an invasive op to access his trachea to collect mucus to test. We were told he probably wouldn’t even survive the anaesthetic as he was so poorly. If he did then to expect additional costs of anything up to £8000 to fix. We’re told euthanasia should be a serious option as his quality of life would be poor after everything carried out. Sadly with a heavy heart we booked him in to be put too sleep the following day. Lynne contacted me and insisted not to do this and get him up to her. it was organised and he traveled the 8 hours to Scotland. She had him for 9 days in total took him to her own house and looked after him. She reduced his weight and upped his antibiotics as well as giving him vitamin b injections. 3 days in breathing was normal!! His walking improved daily and now he’s back home running around like a normal puppy!! She didn’t want paying she did this for the puppy and the love of animals. I have since found out this isn’t the 1st time she had done something like this. Absolute angel of a lady and a genuine animal lover we can’t thank enough!!! I will be walking our puppy into the “specialist” down here and will want some questions answered.

We could not rate this vets and all of if there staff enough . Our girl had her pups there a fortnight ago . The staff go above and beyond . We had a fantastic experience from the very start of a.I until the day pups were delivered. We will never use anywhere else now . We travel 2 hours to get there but it is worth it . Staff could not be more helpful and there vet Rico is 10/10

Excellent vet practice. Very reasonable prices. I travel quite a distance to take my dogs here because of how good they are. Highly recommend.

Platinum vets is by far the best vets in Scotland I highly recommend this vet practice I Brought a dog in with severe aspiration and they managed to save her they spent all day making sure she was fine and give me amazing after care and remind in contact regarding how she was the staff were absolutely wonderful and did an amazing job I can't thank you enough 5 star for me.

Let us down time and time again. Booked the dog in for a c section and had it booked well in advance and was told on the day the vet had to go to Italy. We were left with a dog in labour with nowhere to turn. We then booked the pups in for there injections and microchip only to be told on the day of appointment they had no vaccinations left. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THIS LOT ARE A RACKET AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE PETS THEY TREAT (if u can get seen)

Have used this vet when my dog had open pyo and the service my dog received was outstanding. She received some injections over the course of a few days and recovered really well, the staff in the practice made me feel so at ease at a very worrying time and were more than happy to answer any questions or worries I had. I highly recommend and would not use anywhere else for the care of any of my dogs. place it so modern and immaculate.

Totally exceptional vets. Always a first class service reasonable pricing. After nursing at vets for 35 years, left profession after being totally sickened by uncaring, money grabbing attitude of the last 4vets i worked for and vets I've used since leaving the vet profession. Such a huge relief to find such a caring reasonably priced vets who REALY cares. Would totally recommend.

My dog Bella was very Unwell after having her pups. She had eclampsia and mastitis. Called them up and they told us to bring her right away. 2 weeks later she was back to her normal self. They saved her life. Lovely staff and spotless inside. Highly recommended.

Avoid at all costs. Not even qualified and now my dog is paralysed due to artificial insemination. We walked out and she was walking squint. And the guy was laughing, now she can’t walk. And hospital told me she has a slipped disc due to this incident.
