I've been coming to Angels for my acrylics for years now and I won't go anywhere else! The absolute best on the high street, super friendly, and always accommodating of my various nail art requests and changes in styles and shapes. Couldn't recommend them any higher, which is proven by the fact that all of my friends now also come here. Thanks Tracey and team!

I had a last min walk-in appointment, so at the time was pleased they could fit in 2 services (nails) on the day. Sadly however the service was not great (kind of overlooked, as I was on grateful mode at time).I felt like staff made inside secret comments/hoping you wouldn't spot the shade. Not expected for the beauty industry and I get it was late and people may be tired; but you can say no if you can not deliver.I had a mani done at same time of pedi, and as a result my mani was very wavy and wobbly.Simple improvements can easily be made to make All customers feel looked after.1. Greet customers (not only at reception, when a new technician arrives too).2. Try positive body langauge and smiles when close to your customer.3. Use tools (bamboo sticks) to neaten polish and not own nails.4. Ask preferences.5. Explain why a curing machine for gels might need to be balanced on your lap as not enough time to have you sat on a flat desk surface.Would not recommend.Person who did toe nails was polite (quiet, but that is not a problem).Pedi was good.Finger nails not great.

Gel manicure and pedicure was booked. Upsold to chrome nail colour. Was done by a new member of staff - manicure, no massage & messy colour applied. Pedicure was very basic, did not feel relaxing. I mentioned the colour of the chrome was not the same as the swatch. Another lady jumped in to say “the swatches change colour when left in the sun”. Although somewhat resolved in the end by an actual trained person. Shouting the issue through the salon in front of other customer was very unprofessional. Either making it seem like I’m being an annoying customer or actually painting your salon in an unprofessional manner. Ideally would like a member of management to call me to discuss further.

I had a booked appointment, upon arrival I was not greeted by the receptionist or any of the staff. I was standing there and this older lady asked me what I came for, explained that it was for removal of acrylics and to a new set of gel extensions. My nails are naturally long so I only required extensions on 2 or 3 nails.Firstly her desk had no towel or stand to lean your arms and wasn’t set like the other workers desks, she removed the old set and when putting on the gel powder she was struggling immensely. She kept adding and adding rather than redoing it and kept saying he powder was too dry. To be honest I don’t think she was used to doing these type of nails although she said she could do it, she had to remove the gel powder numerous times and the way she was layering made the nails extremely thick. When filing down the excess the nails were still too thick, she kept filling and I even had to mention the corners which she missed. A lot of excess was visible and the whole set was not done correctly so they look super chunky. This is only my second time doing gel extensions as I usually only do gel polish on my natural nails so was a bit unsure of how the end product was supposed to look. I showed her the design I wanted and she said she could do it, simply a baby blue French tip and a line underneath it which I don’t really think it counts as a design. That’s something that a lot of nail tech professionals would be able to do easily, she was really struggling to do the tip so imagine when I picked the colour for the line underneath the struggle was 10x more than before she kept having to wipe it off and then the bottle was basically empty.I was super tired and a bit under the weather so I just wanted to leave cause it was clear this lady was not as experienced as she made it seem. When booking the appointment I was told it was gonna be £40 and £10 extra for a design, somehow it ended up being £62 when I heard the price I was super shocked because the design wasn’t what I asked for and the nails were super chunky so I complained then some lady called Tracey came over and said she was gonna fix the line and go over it so it’s more prominent. I said does this even count as a design she said definitely with a screw face, I tried explaining the issues to her and she said if I wanted to remove it she would have to charge me after spending £62 which is ridiculous, she was going over the line but not trying to reassure me or understand my side just being defensive and with no care in the world. Kept answering her phone in the middle of going over my lines and because my nails spent so much time under the UV light the varnish is now bubbling up and it’s only been a day since I got them done.I definitely will not be returning as it’s clear that the customers satisfaction is not their priority. As a first time client at your establishment you would think they would do anything to ensure you return and leave happy but that was not the case. I have provided the pictures of what I asked for and what I received which is nowhere near what it was supposed to be.

I’ve used this salon for the past 6 years and just won’t go anywhere else. I’ve never been disappointed and always walk away with perfect nails!I’m always impressed by the range of options (SNS, BIAB, Gel Powder, Acrylic) and there is no one else locally that has the colour range they do.They keep up to date with the latest trends and techniques and are so reasonably priced. Love supporting the girls at this business x
