Great location, but only a few spaces. four or five at the most. There is plenty of road side park at each side of the village.

No one there except us, so there was lots of parking and the views are stunning.

With stunning views over the Solway Firth. The car park is also a useful destination for dog walkers in the village. it is small. but big enough for its intended purpose - short-stay and overnight overflow for the village.

Took the RC's out for a bit of fresh air whilst enjoying the scenery. Love having places like these on my doorstep.

Very pretty. The upper levels of the tidal mud/sand are discoloured blackish, I guess by the billions of jellyfish that must have dried and died there over the centuries.

So quiet and peaceful. My dogs loved it. Careful of the holes in the grass whilst walking. Watch the tide. Area beyond the grass is not suitable for walking in places. You’ll sink

Relaxing to just sit and watch the tide move in, which happens very quickly, the cows just wander along the grass on the edge of the water, when the water goes back out it leaves just a strip of sand between you and Scotland.

Really great views and pleasant , if windy ( on the day we were there) walking along the firth. Quite a range of birds to be seen on the sand banks. Lots of little hamlets in the area all very pretty. Also shorter walks associated with the Hadrian's wall.
