Really nice cafe in Uckfield Town centre. Has a great reputation & been recommended a few times to us. We went for lunch & had 2 different sandwiches & a kids meal.I had the BLT which was one of the best I've had out, lots of bacon, fresh ingredients, nice thick tasty granary bread & a decent sized side salad. Really enjoyed it. The kids meal was a good size, hot & fresh with tasty ingredients. Service was good. A little wait for food but it was a busy Friday lunchtime. All very fresh.The burgers looked great, so we'll try those next time.Recommend a visit.

Green goddess smoothie was very good. Breakfast really great. Love a breakfast or brunch out and I have to say this was one of the best

Wonderful place for good food and drinks with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Breakfast/brunch and lunch options are great, with specials changing every day. Vegan/veggie/gluten free options are worth asking about to be sure they suit you. Portions are generous but not crazy and prices are reasonable.

Lovely find. Inside and outside seating. Food was excellent and served hot. Vegans are catered for too. Lovely cakes but resisted temptation. Really give it a visit.

We had eggs benedict and a burger. It was ok. The desserts (cookie & plum tart) were delicious. Coffee - nothing special. We waited for quite a long time for our lunch.

The food here is delicious and it’s nicely located central to Uckfield with parking easily accessible. We’ve eaten here many times used to be once a week but now once a month if that due to the price increases. I appreciate the cost of ingredients have increased but Hartfields prices have significantly and aren’t so reasonable if you’re here for a meal. Cake and coffee is great value but meals or brunch no longer.Staff however are always friendly and really accommodating. Child friendly with ground floor baby change facilities. Just a shame about pricing as it seems to always be the received feedback when Hartfields is suggested to eat so we now go elsewhere unfortunately. Just isn’t affordable for bite to eat.

Simply loved it.Greeted by a very friendly staff and a positive general vibe.Lovely place, we ordered orange juice which was very tasty, freshly made, hash breakfast and eggs with salmon and avocado.. Everything delicious, very good service.Clean café and clean perfumed toilets.Highly recommended!
