I have been coming here to the quiet county lanes of Surrey to record, mix and produce a variety of music for a few years now. Working with James is always a pleasure, his accommodating professionalism, energy and expertise are inspiring and comforting during what can be long days in the studio.The live room feels warm and welcoming, spacious and versatile, and filled with some lovely vintage gear. Particularly love the Hammond!The end product is always of the highest quality, which why I keep coming back!

James Welch is an absolutely excellent producer with an amazing space in Send Hill for live recording, tracking, producing, and mixing. I spent several weeks with James working on my most recent EP and he makes the whole process easy to deal with and bearable. Recording and in-studio decision making can be very grueling. Great Studio...

Working with James Welch at MasterLink Productions has been an amazing experience for me to say the least. He is an extremely talented Sound Engineer, Musician and Artist that is not only effortlessly capable of recording and processing vocals and instruments to a very high quality but can spontaneously create live and organic instrumental tracks completely from scratch. My time there was fun, successfull and productive thanks to his professional, friendly and accommodating personality. It can sometimes take me a while to 'get into my zone' when I try out new studios but at MasterLink it couldn't have gone any better. He was intuitively able to spot all my mistakes in live time even the most minute and re-record the bits I wanted to redo even when most people wouldnt notice and I would have to ask them which not only saved me a lot of time but kept me in a really positive mood so i could literally correct them in one or two takes. I will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you for being so helpful and good at what you do!!

The studio is so warm and welcoming, such a great environment for creativity. I love the sound of the drum room and the mic locker is fantastic (there's an original C12 in there, I'll say no more!) James is a quality engineer and producer too with strong production ethics rarely found in other studios these days.
