Disgraceful man. Rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Cannot believe how awfully he treats both the living and the dead. We were so relieved to be able to get my father out of his care and use someone else. What was already a heart breaking experience became so traumatic and distressing. Will sadly forever remember it.

When my beloved boyfriend Fuzzy died, Roger Barker handled his funeral. He knew exactly the right things to say to put me at my ease when I was feeling fraught with emotion. He allowed me plenty of time to say goodbye to Fuzzy in the private chapel of rest and I was involved with the order of service. On the day of Fuzzy's funeral, he carried out the service with much dignity and respect and I would highly recommend him.

Is there even a way to put minus 5 stars because i would never ever recommend this guys so called professional services. Avoid!!! As said by the Oxfordshire courts from the judge, this man should be forever haunted by his cruelty!

Absolutely vile man! Not only did he keep pressuring us to hwve our relative cremwted in reading(for some odd reason) when he was oxfordshire born and bread, but also pressured me to sign the papers my husband, (who is nxt of kin for the relative) was ment to sign! My husband wasn't in a very good place after finding out the death of the relative, therefore roger said we are pressed for time. These forms NEED signing!" (surely thats illegal?) and to top it off

Do not use this company. Roger is the rudest person I have ever dealt with and has ripped us off for money.

Roger Barker is undoubtedly the worst funeral director I've ever encountered. To say he lacks competence, integrity, and professionalism would be a gross understatement. His involvement in my late mother's funeral caused real distress to my family. If you want a dignified, professional service, look elsewhere. I wouldn't even trust R & H Barker to organise a funeral for a goldfish.
