Scottish Bagpipers

My husband has already left Glyn a review, following our wedding on Sunday 11th June 2023. However, I couldn't not send a review too.Glyn was amazing from the outset. I was getting ready in the room next to the bar where the guests gathered and although we had asked Glyn to play for the guests, he went above and beyond to play the Welsh National Anthem to the guests, despite the wedding being in Scotland. This meant so much to us and we are truly grateful.The day continued with Glyn playing for the ceremony and the wedding would not have been the same without Glyn and the bagpipes.Following the ceremony, Glyn played as we walked to nearby Ross Fountain for photos. Myself and my husband felt like royalty walking through the Edinburgh streets, being led by Glyn playing beautiful songs.Glyn departed following his toast to us newlyweds.Thank you so much Glyn. We had Glyn as our piper on our wedding day and he was fantastic. Glyn was really helpful in giving us ideas for song choices and pipe recommendations before our big day and did such an amazing job. Finally getting round to leaving this five-star review for Glyn, who piped for us on our wedding day in early December. I cannot recommend Glyn highly enough. He was a complete professional, answering any and all questions we had in advance of the big day, and was very happy to accommodate our requests (including piping whilst leading the procession of guests from the church at the top of the Royal Mile, down Johnstone Terrace to our reception venue... one of the standout moments of the day)! Glyn was immaculately presented in full piper's garb, and played beautifully. He really contributed to how special our day was. Thank you so much Glyn!

Glyn was an absolute pleasure to deal with and an absolutely fantastic piper. He arrived promptly, looked very small in his outfit and knew exactly what to play and when. All of our guests said how wonderful the piping was, it made almost everyone (including myself and my husband!) cry! Can't recommend him enough if you're looking for a wedding piper.His website was also very helpful. It has a really good overview of the types of songs Glyn will play and was really helpful for choosing what we wanted.

Glyn was fantastic at our Scottish wedding celebrations at the Ghilie Dhu. He not only played our guests in but also conducted a handfast and Quaich ceremony for us. His speech was entertaining and he made it so personal for us. He even gifted me a lucky sixpence which was such a lovely touch. Myself and new husband Stephen can't thank you enough you really made it a brilliant day for us.

Glyn was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding in Scotland!! He was easy to work with, very kind, came to meet us and made sure all our personal details were incorporated into our vows. Glyn and his sister Donna, who did our photography, felt like family and helped us create our fairytale wedding! Thank you, Glyn!! ❤️

It was such a pleasure in having The Scottish Bagpiper play at our wedding. It was the perfect final touch to our Scottish Wedding. We just loved it and he just knew what to do I did not have to worry about anything. He played as he lead all my guests into the Chapel and also for myself the bride. It was just wonderful. We hired Glyn for our wedding and he was absolutely brilliant! A really nice guy, excellent on the pipes and he also had a few suggestions of his own to help plan the day which went down a treat. He was also great at controlling the crowd ha! Could not recommend Glyn enough. R and H .

Glyn was our piper during our wedding at Dundas Castle in May. The organisation was simple and straightforward, which we really appreciated. On the day, everyone loved the piping and were stomping their feet to the beat to the point the floor was shaking. Overall he created an amazing atmosphere and had a wonderful surprise for us after piping us to our table. Thank you, Glyn!
