I have been playing guitar for many years, and wanted to learn more about theory, using both keyboard and guitar. Michael asked me how much I already knew and went through the basics in a way that was logical and flowing, at a pace that was right for me. He has a very good understanding of talking about theoretical concepts in a way I can relate to, and was patient when I asked him questions. Highly recommended to all!

As a complete beginner, I really like Michael's teaching style. He explains everything very clearly, patiently, and in a highly personalised way. He tries to understand my interests, as well as my preferences when it comes to theory vs. practice, so the balance has been just right for me. I can definitely recommend his classes to anyone that would like to learn to play the guitar.

Michael has been teaching my two sons 9 y. - piano and 14 y. - guitar for almost 3 years now. My boys really enjoy each lesson with Michael and are progressing nicely. Their confidence is growing and are happy to perform in front of audience. Michael is extremely patient, creative, versatile teacher with very good knowledge and understanding of different musical styles. He tries hard to keep my boys enthusiastic about their music and creativity. Sharing music and talking about music is important part of their everyday lives. Michael is a patient, empathic and attentive teacher. I did some guitar classes with him and he was able to understand my strengths and give me advice on what I was doing right and wrong, always with a great deal of respect. He also has a lot of knowledge about music theory, and you can easily tell that music is his passion. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to learn an instrument or improve their music skills.
