First time calling here on our way home. Was greeted at the door and explained we had called in without a booking. The lady said that was fine and showed us to a table. She said that they had run out of cavery, but we could order from the main menu despite the carvery being on display. We placed an order at the bar after quite a long wait as there were only 2 staff members on the bar and 10+ people with food orders. As soon as our meal arrived, we noticed people ordering carvery. The waitress said it was because they thought they might run out but didn't, so they allowed people who came into the venue after us to order carvery. Our food was mediocre with burnt tasting chips, and the desserts seemed thrown together.I can only assume they were understaffed to be so unprepared as it was only 15:30 when we visited. Fellow customers around us were also disappointed with the service.

I was at Wentworth Brewers Fayre today for my grandsons birthday party.Firstly the whole event was smoothly run and well organised thanks to the hostess, Pamela.Secondly the soft play area is fabulous, safe and ideal for younger children. Finally the food and beverages provided was perfect for my grandson and his friends, all between 3 and 5 years.Excellent experience.Adult food delicious, even better for the Blue Light discount.Thank you Brewers.

The food here is decent. I had the chicken and half rack of ribs and my wife had the mixed grill. Both were very tasty. The ribs were particularly good and my wife felt that the steak on her mixed grill was very good. We had desserts which were good too.The service was great overall and the food arrived quickly. It is a little annoying that sauces (ketchup, mayo, etc) are not readily available and you have to ask for them. I'd eaten half of my meal before the waiter arrived (via a quick chat with a colleague) with a tiny pot of ketchup! In terms of value, it was worth it, but we had a 40% off voucher courtesy of the mother-in-law. At full price, I'm not sure I'd still be saying it was good value. Ultimately it's a Brewers Fayre, they serve pub grub. It's slightly better than Wetherspoons but also costs slightly more.I'd probably visit again, but only if I had another money off voucher.

All the fryed from the chips to the shared starter food came out hard and like it's been fried twice. The avocado you can tell was frozen first was freezer burn second was just sush. The salad was as if they had empty the pot of sauce on it. I wouldn't recommend hear at all we stopped on our way home and what a mistake it was.

Better than many Brewers Fayres I've visited.Food arrived quickly and was well presented.Would have liked to see a cheesecake on the desserts, but just personal choice.Tip - Sign up for email alerts for Brewers Fayre, as often they'll email discount off of food (25% or greater).

What a sorry excuse for a restaurant. The food is appalling. Salad was warm and wted, onion rings look like they had been deep fried every day for a week and the steak was watery and bland. Only reason I ate there was my company purchased a meal deal. There is no way I would ever part money for anything on this menu.

Food is average. Good for anyone on a budget especially the 2 for £10.49 mains! 2 for £10 on cocktails during certain times of the day. The portion sizes are massive too.In a separate room they have a children's soft play area! Which is only £3.50 for 90 minutes.Service is really good here. Friendly and makes you feel very welcome. There's parking out front so no need to worry about looking for parking spaces.Overall, a positive experience and would return for the soft play area.

Only there for a few drinks before a night out - staff were friendly and drinks selection was good. Only negative was the rat (yes, a live one! not a mouse as some staff claimed) that ran down the length of the bar and into the restaurant area...

we ordered from the value menu £9.49 for two meals, club sandwich and lentil hotpot were tasty. it was worth to add £1.50 up graded haddock fish and chips , we got full size fish and chips, that's only cost £6.50 less. the dessert £2.49 was also value for money.

First visit here and will probably be the last. It wasn't overly busy but it was obvious it was seriously under staffed. However most of the staff weren't wearing a uniform so I could be wrong. I made the mistake of not ordering from the 2 mains for under £10.(didn't see it until later) We waited nearly 40 minutes for our food. 40 minutes! Nearly everyone else had left by this time so I don't know what the problem was. We were just about to ask for a refund when it arrived and we were so disappointed. We paid nearly £12 each for our meal and to be honest I wouldn't have paid £2 if I'd seen it first. Tasteless cheese pie with some very suspicious carrots. Meant to be roasted but I mean, look at them. Sadly won't be back.
