A lovely friendly pub with fantastic food and delicious beer. The staff were all very welcoming making every visit a pleasure. We ate dinner here three times during a week long stay in the village.

Food was fantastic. My wife had gammon, chips, mushrooms, peas, onion rings and an egg and it was a really good portion. I had the bridge burger with one of the biggest beef patty I think I've ever had. Brie bites for starter were amazing. Lovely friendly staff and a lovely seat next to a roaring fire. We'll worth a visit.

Went for an amazing walks around the valley. Some stunning views and some interesting wildlife. Finish the walk at the pub for a well deserved Sunday lunch.Was able to sit outside over looking the bridge and the river.My lunch was delicious and the service was great. Overall I enjoyed my hole day out.

A proper pub serving great food and a fine pint of beer. Lovely location with a nice beer garden too. It’s deservedly popular with locals and visitors alike so best to book a table if you want to eat.

Charming country pub with very friendly, helpful staff. We popped in after a morning of hiking and enjoyed a hearty lunch. The food was typical pub grub, but good grub! I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a couple of vegan dishes. The woman serving the food was really lovely.

Lovely staff, very polite and welcoming. Very accommodating. Great food and decent sized portions. Will definitely be returning!
