Good little day out. If kids have Blue Peter badges, they can get in free with a paying adult (2 kids to 1 paying adult) . The lady on reception was lovely with the kids and told me about membership deals which would be great if you're a regular visitor. There's quite a bit to look at. Kids highlight was probably wellie boot land.

Very interesting day out if you like birds! :)Loads to see, and plenty of exhibits spread around the site. It feels expensive when you buy your tickets, but by the time we had spent the day there, and realised it is all self funded it didn't feel bad value for money.Would 100% visit again!

We loved our visit to Slimbridge even on a very damp day. The boys really enjoyed the talks on otters and axolotl with the staff open to answer pretty much anything.Toad Hall was really fun, but the soft play is for under 120cm which our boys were annoyed about. Totally reasonable though!Food was good, breakfast was great. Cutlery could have been significantly cleaner. My boys loved feeding the ducks, watch out that the swans can be aggressive unless you consistently feed into the water.Welly land could be great if there was water in it - even in a down pour it was dry! Loos in the main building were OK but weren't many and we couldn't find any others.Definitely worth a visit if you have curious kids who like the outdoors - just don't forget your wellies! We'll be back to do the canoe safari in the summer.

Great day out with my wife and 10-month-old son. Arrived pretty much on opening time so parked up without issue and there was no queue at the ticket desk. Lots of species of bird to see. Facilities around the place were excellent. Restaurant was good although there was quite a queue to order food and drink. Staff were polite and helpful.

It was a very cold day but all wrapped up snug we had a lovely visit. Easy to get round, lots to see and has changed hugely since I last visited many years ago and all for the better. Ended with a lovely cuppa in the café.

We are members here and go a couple of times a month, it’s so peaceful especially if you go in the week. A great way to get some downtime and see some wildlife.

What a great place to take the little ones. The whole staff is busy caring for the well kept birds. The otters have a fantastic place to live too. There's a good park for the little ones in the sanctuary. Make sure they wear their wellies to splash in the water there.

A fantastic day out. Loved being able to feed the birds. Every area planted up perfectly and the landscaping, bees and butterflies all around made for superb relaxing surroundings.
