Really friendly, knowledgeable staff and a great range of fabric, wool and other sewing/crafting essentials. Thoroughly recommended.

Easy to find and when you go in everything is neat and tidy and you can find what you need quite easily. Lovely Lady helped my son pick some fabric for a project he is working on. Advised him the best material to use. He was happy with his purchase.

I shouldn't be allowed in shops like that. The range, quality and extent of their stock makes Aladdin's cave look like a school stall selling second hand uniform. Every wall, every corner, every shelf displays treasure. The biggest problem would be making a choice. And the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and infinitely patient. I have found the crock at the end of the rainbow!

Lovely shop, friendly staff. Great to have a localish haberdashery shop. ( especially since lockdown with many several closed down near me) Wish I could have stayed longer to browse and see everything. Next time I go I will definitely do that!

Went here for the first time today and couldn’t believe the selection of wool they have! Hobbycraft doesn’t even come close. The entire shop is wool heaven! And plenty to suit different budgets. Will never shop anywhere else again.

Staying in a local AirBnB, my friends and I were lucky enough to stumble on this little gem on a shopping trip last weekend.The shop had a lovely feel to it; beautifully laid out with modern samples to appeal to all abilities. I recall seeing Stylecraft, WYS, Rico yarns among many others with the main area split between baby and adult and different weights. There was also an upper floor of fabric and a room of sewing and knitting tools. I particularly liked the variety of crafts on offer with various kits for different fields: embroidery, bargello, I-Cord, needle felting. It really does have it all, even a bargain basket!The two ladies at the counter were both crafting away, friendly and helpful without being intrusive or driven by pressure selling. It felt like talking to friends.We all commented that we wished we were returning to the area more regularly as the store was so nice to visit. None of us came out empty handed!We had parked in Denmark Street for very reasonable rates which is conveniently on the street beside the shop(and doughnut Time but that's another story!)Thanks Stitchery Do for enabling our hobby and being so absolutely lovely!

The people are great, very helpful and polite. No rush, just loved looking, no pressure. Ordered a pattern expecting it to be about 4 weeks and it was less than 2 days! Now I have found this little treasure of a shop I will be a regular.
