Got me out of a tight spot at short notice and did a great job with it. Clearly knows his stuff, taking pride in his work and getting the best results for his customers.

I was very pleased with the service I received first I had a Oil Boiler Breakdown in my rented house in York . The Emergency engineer arrived within the hour and the boiler was repaired and I asked for options available for a new boiler. I received a phone call the next day and Alan went through all the options Air Source heat pumps ground pumps electric heating gas boilers or a new Oil Condensing boiler but recommended I didn’t have a Combination boiler I decided on a new oil boiler as I already had the Oil Tank. He followed up with a email and prices of a new Grant oil Boiler and I think the other one was a fire bird I looked at the reviews and I preferred the Grant boiler. The new boiler was fitted over a two days with a powerflush and a filter to keep radiators clean. The tenant says the new Oil Boiler is very efficient and Alan added a part to the Flue so the steam goes up over the house as it was in the patio area. This was all done a few months ago and Alan went back today to check things over and to clean the filter free of charge . Well done Green and Reliable I could only give 5 starts as they won’t let me put more on.

Made several appointments with Alan for work that we needed done urgently. He never turned up. We heard lots of (pathetic) excuses. Alan never once told us up front that he wasn't going to turn up on the day & time he said he would. He thinks he is the best of the best and so he can mess his customers around.

Simply outstanding service. I genuinely could not praise Alan more. Following a prior company briefing where we had received incorrect and bad information , Alan visited my house and provided his views. He was honest, informative and very knowledgeable. We agreed that he would carry out an oil boiler replacement that was very inefficient. He specified what we need and was careful to consider all possible financial saving where possible. The outcome was amazing. All the piping was replaced along with a very good new boiler and not only have we saved a fortune through the efficiencies green and reliable have managed, but we also had the gold standard insulation which was a great surprise…. I am not sure I have met a more thorough, knowledgeable business. The work was meticulously clean and delivered awesome results. I would highly recommend. I’mImpressed and thank you for a genuinely good service.

Oil heatingI rang green and Reliable about my oil boiler that stopped working. He came out and was surprised the amount of oil spares he carries.He got the burner fully rebuilt like new, and it’s quietest it’s ever been.Would highly recommend him to anyone.Very knowledgable engineer.Best wishesDean

Our oil boiler went down and the fault was diagnosed and repaired professionally, efficiently and at a reasonable price. We can't recommend highly enough.

Had our boiler for a little over a year, had a slight hiccup this week meaning that a part needed replacing. Fantastic service and great that Alan is flexible enough to come out of normal working hours. I can't recommend this company and Atag boilers enough.

Allan fitted our boiler and did all our other plumbing when we renovated our cottage 13 years ago, he has been back every year since to service our boiler, he does a fantastic job and is very knowledgeable, after the service this morning our boiler was running at 98% effeciency which is great for a boiler of that age. Thoroughly recommend Allan for service and repairs.

Alan installed an outside oiltank and boiler for us in August. He did a fantastic job. The system works perfectly and best of all can be adapted to use biomass fuel when it becomes commercially available. I strongly recommend him to you.

Excellent communication, prompt service and good advice. Proper oil boiler engineer for Firebird boilers and not a plumber or gas engineer moonlighting as one. Boiler running better and more efficient than for the last 5 years. Oh, also wears a shirt, tie and waistcoat as a nod to bygone tradesmen. Great bloke.
