I have searched for 40 years to find a hair stylist who can do highlights to my complete satisfaction, and here he is. Since coming here I never battle with brassy tones, and I dropped frequency of maintenance meaning my hair is in better condition. He really knows his stuff and is fun and a joy to visit on top of that.

My daughters and I have all visited Jem for various hair cuts and colouring. We have all been really impressed. Hes very thorough and most importantly takes the time to listen to what we want whilst giving good advice. Will definitely be returning.

I’ve been going to Jem for over 5 years now since I moved to the area, it is the best hairdressers I’ve ever been to, the style and the colour is always amazing and Jem is the most friendly person and always makes me feel so welcome. It is such a relaxed atmosphere here and I can’t recommend this salon enough.

Jem has been cutting my hair for at least 18 years, I've had both long and short styles, straight and curly. He always understands what I'm looking for, sometimes better than I know myself, and colours are always great! Highly recommended.

Just come back from first visit to Jem and can't recommend highly enough. Had recently had first visit to a different salon (not local) and wasn't happy with the cut done? Checked out reviews for Hair Boutique and booked. One friendly & funny consultation followed by an expert cut & blow dry and out of the salon I walked with beaming smile. Wonderful! Booked a return visit already for myself and mum. Thank you Jem!

I went to see Jem working in Altered Image in Richmond. He was fantastic from start to finish. Listened to the vague ideas of what I wanted and then took my tired, dull hair and totally revamped it! I went for a complete new look and he filled me with confidence. I love the result and Jem is so easy to get on with that he made the experience a pleasure. I have already booked in for my next appointment and would recommend to everyone!
