Not freshly made. Chow mein had that heavy oil taste. Ribs defo not fresh. Sweet and sour had too much vinegar that hit you in the throat. Won't recommend. Cash only.

Have ordered from here many times - used to be really nice food..... maybe it has changed hands. Tonight's meal, £20 worth, was not good - food wasn't tasty, chips were reheated and hard, even a hair in hubby's portion. We won't be ordering from here again.

Best Chinese takeaway in Bedfordshire! Used these for the past few years and can honestly say the food is absolutely divine! Our daughter loves the chow mein and seaweed and we can personally recommend the majority of the dishes on the menu especially chicken in orange sauce, crispy chilli shredded beef, tea smoked chicken and satay chicken skewers.

Ordered some Chinese food yesterday, very underwhelming, very average. Won't get again. Chicken chow mein should have read vegetable and noodles... no chicken in sight. Sweet and sour pork was so tough, we struggled to chew it! First and last time.

Ordered a takeaway for delivery by telephone this evening from the New Golden Lion. Great service from phone call to delivery, only took 30 minutes and the food was fresh, piping hot and delicious. Will certainly use again, and would highly recommend.

The flavour of their chicken curry was lovely, the chicken was cooked perfectly. It took about 20-25 minutes to be delivered and the driver was friendly and very quick to offer change, only wish I could have given more of a tip! We had a few duck rolls for free as we spent over £20 which I think is a nice touch as most places just give you prawn crackers.This is the first time my sister and I have ordered from here and we will definitely order our take away from here in future.

Best Chinese takeaway in Bedford, reminiscent of the Chinese takeaways I used to visit in London. Food is clean and full of flavour, service is friendly and personable. Definitely visit again!

The food is delicious, service spot on! Delivery is always quick- delivery staff very pleasant! Been using this place now for around a year - now I've found it, I'm not letting go!! My family and friends say it's the best Chinese take out they've had! Best treat ever - sometimes once a week!

I went in today to order chips and curry sauce to see the woman behind the counter arguing with 2 men who had done some work for them (painting and decorating) After noticing I was there to order food she goes into the back never to resurface (clearly ignoring the painters and decorators and hoping they would leave) i called back stating i wanted food only too also be ignored while hearing laughing and chatting coming from the back.Absolute shocking behaviour not just to me but too the 2 gentleman who she was refusing too pay for their work.
