Norfolk Villa Residential Care Home

Not the greatest experience, tried to sort restbit care for two weeks for my Nan ( who has dementia ) stated this on the phone, didn’t seem an issue, said they had availability for this week but would need to meet her beforehand, they said they’d contact my mum regarding setting up a meeting for Monday … she heard nothing until Monday and they wanted to meet her Tuesday ( today ) turned up stinking of cigarettes … didn’t ask many questions about her, said they had an “open door policy” giving that she has dementia this would be somewhat concerning, he also never mentioned that her having dementia would’ve been an issue when I originally spoke to them last week, before leaving they said they’d “be in touch” mum asked if they could contact her with an answer by the end of the day if possible, after not hearing anything, I rang to chase it up, to be told the manager was at b&q and that they’d get him to ring me when he came back…. No phonecall…. They dragged their feet with this… with us as a family having to chase things up, just seems very unprofessional to me.

Very friendly and home from home apmostphere nice home made cakes made ver welcome

Called to enqurier about a job and understanding that they are rushed there no need for staff member sto be rude on the phone and in person this makes me think how the individuals at this care home are being treated
