Harringtons On The Hill
A little disappointed, having heard such good things about Harringtons, very cramped with no atmosphere, having ordered our meals, the waitress returned to say that two of our choices were not available, service was very slow, to be fair, the food was lovely and good value. We would think twice about returning. For a Saturday lunchtime, we expected a bit better.

Superb, our favourite little Saturday lunch spot.This place is warm, welcoming, friendly, with a superb fixed price menu @ £ 12.95 for 2 courses or £16.50 for 3 courses, both including a free glass of quality wine.The food is freshly cooked, super quality and can't be beaten for value for money.The loveliest thing about this are the wonderful staff, who simply can't do enough for you. Service is exceptional.Well done all. 10/10.Karen & Mark

We were absolutely delighted with this restaurant. It’s in a beautiful location next to the castle, parking was easy, the staff were lovely, restaurant is cosy and had a lovely atmosphere. Our meals were very nice, top quality ingredients and really very good value. We will definitely be back!

First time dining here tonight with family and it didn't disappoint. This place has a really nice bistro vibe which is sort of upper rustic if such a term exists. Really great service, warm and friendly atmosphere and we really enjoyed all our food. We did share a dessert but I enjoyed it so much I forgot to take a photo. Definitely park in the queen and castle car park behind as way less faff. Check out the specials as they are delicious. I was a bit like meh the menu looks OK, but I had a feeling it would all be really nice and it was fresh, well sourced end just yum!Check this place out for an occasion or just because!

On-road parking is very limited, although there was ample space in the pay & display around the corner. The fixed price lunch menu is very good value (3 courses for under £20, including a free glass of wine or fruit juice), and there was nothing particularly wrong with the food when I visited, but it was all a bit underwhelming. The 'rocket, beetroot & pine nut salad' with the grilled goats cheese starter was just garnish; the fish that came with the fish and chips was overcooked and had a strong oily taste; and the pistachio ice cream that came with the treacle tart had a very strange medicinal flavour. Worth considering, but don't expect too much!

Since moving to Kenilworth have visited here on four occasions, both as a couple and in a group.On every visit the food was excellent and the service very polite and efficient, even when very full at the weekend.A nice atmosphere and decor make for a really enjoyable experience.For us this is the best place in Kenilworth to eat and offering quality freshly prepared food represents really good value.Highly recommended.

Visited back in June 2023. The breaded brie wedges with chilli jam were indulgent and flavourful. The Sunday Roast was fantastic, all the meat was beautifully done, lovely and tender, the Yorkshire pudding was huge but didn't sit too heavy, trays of veggies on the side all of which was cooked perfectly. Easily worth the price, which seemed pretty good value anyway for the type of eatery and the location. To top it off the rum and raisin ice cream was superb.The place is small, but it helps the atmosphere. Plus we were a larger group and they were very accommodating. All the staff were fantastic, especially given how busy it was, they didn't miss a beat.

Small British restaurant in an old nicely decorated building. Fantastic service, food quality was 9/10. I had fish and chips and it was really good. Would definitely go again. Price is also great. The best quality Vs price I've tried in the area.
