K9 Insight are great trainers. I had two 1 to 1 sessions with Alex and also joined the motivation and focus group. After my dog recovered from surgery he became very reactive and Alex gave me a lot of tips that have really made a difference to him. I tried a trainer before these guys and wish I had come straight to them. You won't be disappointed if you chose to train with K9 Insight!

We’ve just completed the pupper classes and couldn’t be happier with the progress we’ve made with our young pup. The outdoor training makes for a far more relaxed atmosphere than in a hall, and the training methods and tips have been a great success for us - and puppy.Alex and his team are knowledgeable, calm and patient, both with dogs and owners! Bertie joined our family a few months ago and I contacted K9 Insight for a 1-1 session just to get to grips with the basics of lead walking and recall. I was immediately impressed by Alex's calm reassuring techniques and after one hour I was feeling far more confident.I then signed us up for a six week Obedience Fundamentals course which, with a ratio of one trainer for two dogs, meant each participant received a lot of attention and feedback.Alex's approach to dog training is tailored to each dog's individual needs, which makes his training sessions highly effective. He uses positive reinforcement techniques that are also fun, he emphasises the importance of building trust and communication with your dog.Alex has a wealth of knowledge and experience in dog behaviour and is happy to answer any questions you may have. He was patient and supportive throughout and his positive attitude and sense of humour made our training sessions enjoyable and fun.I highly recommend Alex as a dog trainer. He is knowledgeable, patient and truly cares about the wellbeing of the dogs he works with.Bertie and I are really looking forward to the next course and maybe even another certificate.

K9 insight with Alex McRobb’s training ethos gives , not only your dog , but also you a great foundation, step by step likened to building blocks to create a steady training pattern with no pressure, it’s fun albeit some days you think ‘where am I going with this! ‘ but it does come together and makes learning fun and worthwhile.You build a partnership with your dog along the way , training with your dog can be seen as a journey not a destination , it never ends with many possibilities and sometimes exasperated moments ! .Alex and Nikki of K9 Insight are very knowledgable and supportive . They always go the extra mile to help out.

We did 6 sessions on Focus and Motivation, they were great, we've made loads of progress and will be signing up for the next level. Alex is a great trainer, using humour and making you feel that you can do it, no matter what goes wrong on the day.

Alex has been helping us with one of our dogs who has issues being left alone and being aggressive with other dogs.I genuinely thought that there would be little that could be done to improve the situation. I was just about at the end of my tether and giving serious consideration to having to let Bella (our dog) go.How wrong i was!Alex was recommended to me by someone so I thought to give it a go. I cannot recommend him and K9 highly enough. He has shown us the techniques to use to start the journey to getting our dog to a better place.They really have made a big difference and it has given us hope. We are still taking sessions with Alex and will continue to do so.If you are reading this and considering Alex for some dog training then you should go for it. I was very skeptical but Alex really can help.Go for it, you wont regret it.Alex is friendly and engaging and will take you through the process and it really is amazing how quickly some of the dog behaviours can be modified.

We had a great experience with Alex who visited us for a face to face visit to meet our greyhound Buddy. Buddy developed some separation anxiety issues some time after being adopted and Alex was absolutely great. Gave us some tips how to keep Buddy mentally entertained and suggested some games as well. After his second visit we are happy that Buddy is back to normal and Alex couldn't be more helpful and great in his attitude towards Buddy and us.

Training sessions for our 4-6 month old shiba inu. Alex and all the other trainers we met are great, they help understand the behaviours and work hard with you to ensure the best for you. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
