A good honest cafe, that serves hearty food in good size portions. The interior is comfortable and cosy and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. The kitchen area would benefit from a more efficient cooking extraction system as the fumes and odours tend to filter through into the main cafe area which can be off putting to customers. In summary Cafe 118 is well worth a visit.

I have been going to cafe 118 now for a good few years. The service is always welcoming, in my experience the breakfast here is hard to beat, good portion sizes, cooked well. With good quality produce. If you're after a nice sized full English breakfast you'll be hard pushed to find one better locally.

Went this morning for a breakfast, I’d go as far as to say it’s the best in the area. The produce like the sausages and bacon are definitely better quality than the majority of local cobshops I’d recommend.

The best breakfast in Nottingham. Great meaty sausages, tinned tomatoes, thick bacon, beans, mushrooms, egg to how to you like them, rounds of toast to mop it all up finished with a decent cuppa. Perfect.

Absolutely delightful, came across this place by chance and will definitely be returning regularly. Food homemade, freshly prepared and delicious, I had the vegetarian breakfast. Very friendly and accommodating staff and excellent service.I'm looking forward to trying the Traditional Afternoon Tea" another time."
