I've taken my car to this garage for the last couple of years, for servicing, MOT and repairs. Always friendly and helpful service from Dave and his son Adam who works there. Family run, they rely on good customer relations and word of mouth for business.Consequently you can expect reasonable prices and an approach that encourages repeat business. Recommended, especially if you are running an older car on a budget.

As always Dave is very helpful and honest. All our family and friends use him instead of our local ones, which must say something about him. Don't mind driving for 10 - 15 mins when there are many local ones within 3 mins drive.

Considering I can do my own maintenance of a vehicle.. I still go here as they are so reasonably priced! Never thought I'd find a garage where I actually trust the staff. Very upfront about what they are doing and aren't out to waste your money. If it doesn't need doing, they won't do it. Simple as that.

AVOID AT ALL COSTProblem after problem after problem ended up getting rid of car because of the issues costing me over £2000Engine managment sensor wentHad to have 4 new coil packsClutch went a day after warranty ran outThen then they charged me full price for a clutch replacement no good will discount and then the clutch was slipping a few weeks after.I took the car to a professional mechanic and they said to me the car should have never been sold to me, the engine gallery was knackered & that the headgasket was on the way out..All this for a car that less than 4 months old is pretty discussing….

Rude and non-committal service in relation to fixing a car (had it for more than 2 weeks and still not fixed so we’ve taken it away from them). Really sad about this because I bought the car from this dealer and thought the after purchase service would be good. Completely wasted mine and my mother’s time and caused unnecessary stress for both of us.

Bike broke down and I i saw the Auto Shop. Couldn’t have been more helpful, let me store my bike whilst I re charged the battery and lent me the appropriate tools. Even offered to store it overnight if required.Couldn’t have been more helpful, nice friendly mechanisms and owner.

Excellent service, took my car in for a repair to front wing dent.He had a cancellation so book me in the next day.All repair within three day .Very happy customer.Excellent value for money.Definitely recommend D&G

Absolutely brilliant!!!! I’ve had two big jobs completed now on my car and on both occasions DGS Autos have been great! I thought my turbo had gone on my Insignia but they investigated it and it was only a switch. I wouldn’t have known any different but they saved me a lot of money. Very trustworthy! I certainly recommend this garage. Great guys!Tom C
