Fab fish shop. Does all sorts, fish, chips, pies, kebabs, battered sausage, fish cakes. Servuce is good and you do nit have to wait too long. Fish cooked to order. Doner kebab is good, they di not skimp on the doner meat or the accompanying salad. It is our go to whenever we just want something quick. Staff very polite.

Ordered Fish & chips , Doner Kebab & Chips ,chicken mushroom pie & chips ,chicken kebab food was very tasty , the only thing I would like better would be a bit more spice in the doner kebab for flavour but still was very very tasty , Def recommended,best chips in Reading so far!Will definitely try all the different food on the menu ❤️my fav chicken kebab out of this world and the chips perfect!

After eating from here a few times a week for at least 10 years. I feel I have to leave a review. The service and attitude of the staff has been extremely poor and at times they have been very rude in the last year.To add and this not down to being a little upset with the place. The food quality has also started to go side ways and is now often not cooked properly and to the same standard they had provided in the past.I myself would recommend not eating from here and I will be avoiding in the future.A real same after 10 years

I had a bad experience from this shop.The staff is so disrespectful and not even communicate well. The food was good but the service and the customer relationship is too bad.Please don’t expect well manners from the staff from JFC.

I was served by the wonderful Ash who told me all about her life. I don’t think I have met a more inspirational person than her! The food was excellent. I don’t even like fish but once I took a bite out of the freshly fried fish it filled me joy and childhood memories. Honestly I would recommend this sm! This was definitely one of my top highlights from my adventure to reading! Ps don’t forget to try their chips! Customer service is outstanding

This is the only fish and chips we’ll order in Reading, as we find the rest bland and unexciting. JFC always delivers on good quality food, always tasty and generous portion sizes. They’re also quick to deliver. Love JFC :)

They couldn't be bothered to give me vinegar for my £70+ fish and chips order even though I explicitly asked for some. No lemon, no salt, no vinegar, no utensils. Thanks a lot for nothing.
