Had an absolutely lush night on Saturday. Music was a bit all over the place genre wise but the DJ played some absolute bangers. The security were kind and welcoming and the bar staff gave excellent service. The supervisor was very kind and she was helpful answering questions about the upcoming events. Cant wait to attend a drag brunch soon!

Brilliant place. Great atmosphere. If you want to have a good dance, this is the place to be. Clean, tidy well kept & looked after. Two dance floors. Seating area by the bar. Cocktails available, local beers & soft drinks. All reasonably priced. Outside garden area. Staff are polite & happy to assist. Recommended

Visited here from London with a large group of friends.We all had an amazing time. Rougie was the resident drag act and hostess on the night. It was a Wednesday which apparently was a karaoke night.My group of friends all love karaoke, so this was a big win for us. They were all made to feel welcome by the security staff, bar staff and Rougie. It was clean and well maintained.There was a drinks special for shots which was a great encouragement for us to buy more as, from London, you can imagine the cost is significantly higher even at normal prices.If you are looking for a friendly location, that is accepting and warm, no matter what your inclination or appearance, look up DYMK, which apparently stands for 'Does your mother know!'If we are in the area, we will definitely return. Meanwhile we will definitely come to see you, Rougie, if you visit our local in London, Ye Olde Rose and Crown in Greenwich.

I’m not very often in that place and usually visit once in a while. Guess what? Every time I go the experience is from bad to worse. Lame music, over-expensive beverages, the list goes on Now, recent events put me off for good. I have been accused by the security man in a very rude manner ( shouting) that allegedly I have touched someone inappropriately. Although the guy allegedly touched me explained to the security man that it wasn’t the case. Next thing you know, I am being thrown out from the place in front of all other people without explanation. When I raised this with staff outside they said I “burched” the guy, hence I was thrown out, so was I thrown out because I was a creep touching others or because I butched the security man or maybe the security man did the bad job in the first place and had no explanation to his actions when I challenged him? Now, I didn't do anything inappropriate in there, secondly, there was no complaint from the allegedly affected person and third, the security man turned out to assume things and when challenged he used his power to kick me out. I don't know how many people have experienced something like that, but it's not pleasant and very embarrassing. The security staff outside not only were backing up this man's action but also were rude and aggressive trying to establish their authority in a situation where they are been all clearly very wrong. I feel the act was very homophobic and so unfair. During the night I saw a DJ stepping off the stage and throwing someone out as well. The whole place feels vile and aggressive with little respect for customers. I don't wanna be treated like this again and I will never return to that sh...hole. The good thing is some competition seems to be opening in Bournemouth. Hopefully, they would know better. What I experiences' was assault and I would not recommend it to anyone to experience the same. Stay away from that place if you don't want to be insulted the same way I was.

After being left in the street by the vault we came here and had a blast. Door staff were welcoming, empathetic and all round amazing. All the venues staff were great, fast service for drinks. Felt safe, plenty of security staff around. Dave floor was busy but that was because the music was brilliant! Great outside garden, large space, well lit and good amount of seating. Again thank you for an amazing evening, after a rocky start to our pre booked booths that were double booked at the vault.

I love our experience last night. It was great. The karaoke night is the best. We sang our lungs out and been laughing all night. The drag act last night, Rougie was such a great entertainer.Would love to come back there soon if I’m around. The jager shots is so cheap. £2 per shot. Amazing!

£10 entry on a standard weekend night. The only gay club in town (currently) and they charge to get in.Feels like they’re taking advantage of the community by having a monopoly. It’s often too hot and the DJ on Saturday nights doesn’t have any concept of how to mix songs or to flow the vibe of the music through the night, causing whip lash from one genre to the next and killing the vibe after every song.The refitted venue is much better.
