North Essex Speech Therapy

Since having speech and language sessions with Jo, our 7 year old autistic son has made a vast improvement. Not only has his speech and understanding of language progressed, but he is now able to voice his needs and communicate much better with his peers and adults. We are extremely pleased and highly recommend Jo.

I contacted Jo initially to assess my son's speech, prior to him starting reception. After the initial meeting and assessment, Jo sent through a plan with a realistic idea of where my son needed assistance, including lots of resources for us as a family to do, in between our visits. We only needed 4 sessions before there was a marked improvement in my son's speech and he was able to be discharged. I would highly recommend Jo to anyone as her friendly, professional and knowledgeable approach to a sensitive subject, is not always easy to find.
