Excellent, lovely to see Melanie again and get my hair done!!

This was my first visit, I was very impressed. The young lady who looked after me and styled my hair was so friendly. I will certainly be going back again

Went for a cut and blowdry. Not happy with quality of blowdry. Wanted a curly blowdry. Stylist dried hair with a diffuser instead of sectioning it,using a brush and finishing it with tongs or straighteners. Left my hair quite damp as she stated it would be frizzy if dried till it was completely dry. To be fair she did dry it further on request. However my hair looked like I done it myself. Very dissatisfied and don't think I'll return as a customer as the salon does not seem to be able to deliver a good quality blowdry.

I am really shocked by my experience today in Shek. We have got our hair cut here from when we were children, haven't been back for years but decided to save up and treat my sister for her birthday today for nostalgic reasons and because it has a good reputation.Once we got there, I was chatting to my hairdresser who was lovely and dry trimmed by hair to prepare it for colour. About ten minutes later, my sister came over to me to say she was going outside to ring our mum to collect her because her hairdresser REFUSED to dye her hair...After talking to her hairdresser and trying to work out a compromise, she was unwilling to dye it at all in any capacity bleach or not as she 'wouldn't feel comfortable'. She didn't offer any other alternatives or even offer a haircut, simply took Rian's apron off and disappeared into the back leaving my sister in a borderline panic attack for no reason whatsoever. I had to then convince the hairdresser to wash and cut her hair actually saying 'we are here with money why won't you do her hair?!' After talking with the hairdresser, she agreed to wash and cut Rian's hair. In the middle of this, another member of staff came over to the hairdresser and said 'are you OK?' like somehow we had harassed her by paying her to do her job? We both walked out so confused and hurt by the whole experience.We don't understand why this happened, we were not rude in any way to the staff, had informed them that we were wanting a colour and that my sister would be going lighter... We booked time off from work and arranged childcare and left the place feeling really disappointed and upset. We walked straight out and to super drug to buy a box dye to do it ourselves.I am really, really horrified by what we experienced today. What should have been a blessing and a girls day out was ruined by a member of your staff. If she is not comfortable dying hair, then why work there?We will never be back again.

Got a cut and colour (dark roots, caramel toned streaks under) with Tina. Absolutely love it
